In my view, the current situation is akin to thatofan explorer who, having scoured the easternseaboard of North America, concludes that nogroves of Sequoiadendron giganteum exist inthe entire continental USA.

As with this hypothetical hunt for giantsequoia trees, finding evidence for SUSYdepends on the observer looking in the rightplace.
