“Indiana will only meet the demands of the complex 21st-century economy by empowering innovative organizations like WGU to connect Hoosiers to the education and training they need to succeed. WGU Indiana awarded $750,000 in scholarships to Indiana students last year.
Created in 2010, through a partnership with the state of Indiana and national online Western Governors University, WGU Indiana’s mission is to expand access to affordable, high-quality higher education in the state. The online, nonprofit university currently serves 5,000 students, with more than 4,200 graduates in Indiana. WGU’s unwavering focus on improving student experiences and outcomes has resulted in increased student and graduate satisfaction and greater career opportunities for our graduates.
“Within three months of graduating from WGU, I was promoted to director, given an increase in salary, and entrusted with new, exciting responsibilities. But, best of all, earning my degree from WGU has given me the confidence and realization that there is nothing I cannot do.”
Sandy Aldrich Westfield, IN MBA, Healthcare Management
