A: The Super Priority Visa Service allows eligible customers to apply for a visa at the UK Visa Application
Centre in Paris and have it processed within 24 hours.
Q: Where can I apply?
A: The Super Priority Visa Service is available to eligible customers who submit an application at the UK
Visa Application Centre in Paris.
Q: Who is eligible to purchase the Super Priority Visa Service?
A: Customers and their dependants applying in one of the following immigration routes are eligible to
use this service:
- Tourist and short stay
- Points Based System Tier 2 and Tier 5 applicants with authority to be living in France
- Point Based System Tier 5 (Youth Mobility Scheme)
- Points Based System Tier 5 (Temporary worker – Creative and Sporting) if currently in France
for a similar purpose to the activity proposed to be undertaken in the UK.
Q: Do I need to be resident in France to be eligible to purchase this service?
A: If you are applying for any tourist or short stay (visitor) visa or for Tier 5 (creative and sporting) visa,
you do not need to be resident in France. Customers wishing to apply for a Tier 2 work visa need to be
resident in France.
Q: Can I just turn up at the Visa Application Centre in Paris or do I need to book in advance?
A: You will need to book a Super Priority Visa Service appointment at the same time as you make your
online application and pay the visa fee. To book an appointment in Paris, you must select ‘France’ as
your location regardless of the country you are in when you complete the online application process.
Q: When will my passport be ready for collection?
A: Once you have attended your appointment, your documents will be ready for collection from the UK
Visa Application Centre in Paris from 09:00 the next working day.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The Super Priority Visa Service costs 600 GBP and is payable in Euros.
Q: Can I pay the Super Priority Visa Service fee at the UK Visa Application Centre in Paris?
A: No, the fee must be paid online here before you attend your appointment. You will need to register
on the TLScontact website before you can pay the SPVS fee.
Q: Does using the service guarantee that my visa will be issued?
A: No, using the Super Priority Visa Service does not imply or guarantee that your visa application will be
successful. All customers must meet the requirements of the UK Immigration Rules.
Q: Will I get a refund if my visa is refused?
A: No. The Super Priority Visa Service fee will not be refunded if the visa is refused or, in exceptional
circumstances, takes longer to process than advertised.
Q: Will I get a refund if I don’t receive my visa within 24 hours?
A: Where UK Visas & Immigration are unable to process your application within 24 hours we will let you
know when you can expect your decision and whether your Super Priority Visa Service fee can be
refunded.
