Establish a Motor Management Program

• Survey all motors in facilities• Decide on motor disposition before failure and tag

each motor with action:– Replace immediately with Super-E motor– Replace on failure with Super-E motor– Replace on failure with Standard-E motor– Rewind on failure

• Reduce downtime - use replacement as an opportunity to upgrade motor enclosure and level of protection (replace with Severe Duty, IEEE 841 or Washdown motor)
