Construction of 49 Senior Affordable Housing Apartments in Hollister
To our neighbors in Hollister and other interested parties, This newsletter will keep you updated on Sunrise Senior Apartments’ construction progress. Watch for more newsletters in the coming months. The newsletters will be issued roughly once a month until construction is complete. Sunrise Apartments is 49 affordable housing units for seniors located at 580 Westside Blvd. in Hollister, California.
Construction Continues
Here's where we are in construction:
Electrical - 95% Stucco - 100% Paint - 80% Site work 100% Flooring - 85% Plumbing - 98%

Solar - 100% Overall - 90% complete
We anticipate completing Sunrise Senior Apartments in the Fall of 2019.

Waitlist Each Sunrise Senior Apartment will have Project Based Section-8 provided by the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Cruz (www.hacosantacruz.org). Pre-applications were accepted by the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Cruz

during the open application period in March. All pre-applications received during that period were sorted by a random selection process by the Housing Authority to establish order for application review. CHISPA is now reviewing the applications and interviewing applicants.
