The Rodeo May Be Cancelled,
But Sundre Community Spirit Is Not!
With the cancellation of the 2020 Sundre Rodeo, the SRRA wanted to give back to the community they feel has supported them for many years. The recipients of the generous donation are Greenwood Neighbourhood Place and Sundre Nutrition for Learning. Shane Crouch, President and Jenn Anderson, Treasurer presenting to Sari Werezak ED of GNP $3500.00 and Ann-Marie & Keira Fuchko of Sundre Nutrition for Learning $3500.00. Missing from photo is Josh Hengen and Family of Sundre Home Hardware who contributed $2000 of the total amount. “Many Thanks for supporting your Community!”

New to the community? Been here for
years? Interested in getting fit and active on
Sundre’s beautiful trails?
The Sundre Bike n’ Ski Club is a local
not-for-profit organization focused on the
development of mountain biking and
cross-country skiing in and around the
community of Sundre! We offer guided
Tuesday night mountain bike rides from
Spring to Fall and our club nurtures and
grooms xc ski trails throughout the winter in
addition to grooming for fatbiking. We are
also active in trail advocacy and trail
maintenance and are always looking for
more volunteers.

2020 Town of Sundre Canada Day Celebrations
Due to the current public health restrictions we regret to say we will be cancelling the Canada
Day Celebrations in town. Fireworks have been postponed until a later date to be determined.
This is not a choice we have made easily.
Town Facilities For current information on Playgrounds, the
Community Gazebo, and Skate Park check out the Town of Sundre website www.sundre.com
Royal Purple Park Addition This summer there will be additional play-ground equipment installed at the park.
The Town invites interested volunteers to help with the equipment installation, which should
be around the middle to late July. You can phone 403-638-2042 or email
