DO'S and Don't's

Safety

Please read this user manual before starting the operation of the STB. Please Do not touch the power cord with wet hands as it may cause electric shock. Do not open the top cover of STB. It is dangerous to touch the inside of the STB as it may cause electric shock. Use soft cloth to clean the STB. Make sure when the STB is not going to be used for a longer period to remove the power cord plug from the wall socket. Do not use a damaged power cord that may cause a fue or an electric shock. Do not connect or disconnect the LNB cable from the STB when the STB power is ON Place the STB in a well ventilated and normal room temperature environment.

Precautions

Install the STB horizontally. An uneven installation may cause dame to STB. Do not place the heavy items over the STB such as DVD, PVR & flower vas etc. Do not place the STB in a place

o Where it will be exposed to direct sunlight. o where there will be heavy humidity. o where the temperature will be too high. o where there is no ventilation at all. o where it will be subject to vibrations.

Moving the STB to normal environment from a cold environment will cause condensation. Do not operate the STB for one or two hours or until the moisture dried completely.

Do not connect the STB through PVR it may cause copyright violation and the Picture will be distorted on the TV screen.
