SCRIPTURESCRIPTURE James 2:14-26 (NKJV)
Faith Without Works Is Dead 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has
faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a
brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and
one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and
filled,” but you do not give them the things which are
needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith
by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.”
Show me your faith without your[a] works, and I will show
you my faith by my[b] works. 19 You believe that there is one
God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith
without works is dead?[c] 21 Was not Abraham our father
justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the
altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with
his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the
Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God,
and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[d] And he
was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is
justified by works, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by
works when she received the messengers and sent them
out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith
without works is dead also.

RESPONSIVE READINGRESPONSIVE READING Psalm 15:1-5 (NKJV)
LEADER: Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
CONG: He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart;
LEADER: He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;
CONG: In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the Lord; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
LEADER: He who does not put out his money at
usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.
ALL: He who does these things shall never be
moved.

LIFT HIM UPLIFT HIM UP
1. How to reach the masses, men of every birth, For an answer Jesus gave the key: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, Will draw all men unto Me.”
Refrain Lift Him up, Lift Him up,
Still He speaks from eternity: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth,
Will draw all men unto Me.”
2. Oh! the world is hungry for the Living Bread, Lift the Savior up for them to see; Trust Him, and do not doubt the words that He said, “I’ll draw all men unto Me.”
3. Don’t exalt the preacher, don’t exalt the pew, Preach the Gospel simple, full and free; Prove Him and you will find that promise is true, “I’ll draw all men unto me.”
4. Lift Him up by living as a Christian ought, Let the world in you the Savior see; Then men will gladly follow Him who once taught, “I’ll draw all men unto Me.”

Special Giving Above Tithe and Offering
“The tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.” Leviticus 27:32
Every Christian should strive to learn how to be a cheerful giver. When we give what does it actually mean? It simply means we, cheerfully give to God our tithes and offerings. Tithing honors God. Are you giving the Lord His tithes or your tips? The word tithe means to give back to God one tenth of your earnings for the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel throughout the world.
