How to Become a Member of Farmdale Baptist Church Any person may offer themselves in person as a candidate for
membership in this church at any worship service in any of the
following ways:
1) Baptism Upon a public profession of their faith in Jesus Christ as
their Savior and a commitment of their life to him as Lord, a person
may be received as a candidate for baptism.
2) Letter A person may be received upon presentation of or promise
of a letter of dismissal from another church; provided they have
received Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and have followed
with baptism by immersion.
3) Statement A person may be received upon their statement of a
prior conversion experience and baptism when no letter is
obtainable.

A group from Farmdale is planning to attend this event. There is no cost for the dinner. There will be an opportunity during the evening to give financial support to the AW ministries. See Pastor Steve if you would like to attend.

several areas, especially the Boiler Room

AUGUST 12th Annual Church Cookout Our annual church-wide cookout and fellowship is an event
you will not want to miss! The church provides the hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks. What will you bring to add to
the feast?!? Be sure to invite someone to join you for this fun event.
It’s harvest time in the Community Garden. There
are plenty of vegetables in the Fellowship Hall and
kitchen. Help yourself and be sure to take some to
a neighbor with the message that Jesus loves them.

In accordance with our by-laws, we will conduct an election of deacons next Sunday. Doug Kirk and Jason Dudley have agreed to serve a three year term if elected by the church. They will be voted on next week by a congregational vote.

Sunrise Children Services Offering- Next Sunday Sunrise Children’s Services, an agency of the Kentucky Baptist Convention, offers a wide array of services to abused, abandoned or neglected children. Currently more than 7,500 children are in state custody in Kentucky. Sunrise cares for an average of 1,000 of these kids every day through their 10 residential treatment facilities and therapeutic foster care homes across the state. Your offering will help support their work. Please pray for the work of Sunrise and prayerfully consider what you will give to this special ministry. We will be collecting next Sunday.
