Mothers’ Union members are invited to a celebration of love and marriage on 9th June at St. Peter’s Church, Curdridge. The event is a Royal Wedding Fayre and will be will be promoting church weddings. There will be an exhibition of wedding dresses through the decades from 1950 to 2016, wedding displays, illuminated manuscripts, wedding stalls and other more traditional stalls. There will be a short act of worship in a beautifully decorated church to give thanks for marriage….and in which any married couple present can renew their vows. Then wedding cake will be cut and shared, a glass of bubbly and photographs can be taken for a donation to the church. Church bells pealing, string quartet, Gospel Choir, vocalist singing 50s to 70s songs and promotional material for weddings in church. It should be a lovely afternoon of celebration and we hope to be able to welcome some MU members from Winchester Diocese. Car park opposite the church just off the main road.
