Morning & Evening Prayer at Emmanuel
We want to commit to make prayer central to our lives together. We want to pray for our Church, our community, the places we live, the
people we’re called to love and serve, the wider world, for those who lead us locally, nationally and internationally, for those who struggle in
whatever way, and wherever God is needed. We will be meeting together Monday to Friday 9am and 7pm.

A WHOLE CHURCH DISCIPLESHIP ADVENTURE
About JSP • It recognises five priorities that Jesus modelled in his three
year ministry • It helps churches explore these priorities in enjoyable and
practical ways • It inspires churches to reshape themselves in response to
this in practical ministry • It has a special focus on including children and young people
in the Jesus Shaped People adventure • It helps churches evaluate their progress and maintain their
Jesus Shaped focus
How will it work? Each month will follow a theme of the JSP programme
September – People October – Teaching
November – Team Building December – Advent + Christmas (break in JSP programme)
January – Prayer February – Prophetic Challenge
The service at each of the Emmanuel Group of Churches will follow the programme as well as the children, young people and Prospects Group. Teaching will be expanded in house groups or at a midweek group based at Emmanuel. If your house group meets weekly, it can
continue to do so and explore weekly material. As many house groups meet fortnightly, a midweek group at Emmanuel will be held
on one of the non-house group weeks to cover that week’s topic. This will be held on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm. All are welcome
to this group. Housegroups will continue JSP – Meeting Real Needs
