  • I met Icegrill at the ultimate

    breakdown battle thrown by

    neither here nor there.

    Since then he has remained

    relevant in the local hiphop

scene and is nscene and is now a veteran

when it comes to this. In my

    hood his name is known

    very well (Ghostown) as one

of the sickest bar for bar off

    the top spitters.

    He has been recognized and

scrutinized do to his past as

  • FREE MONEY

Im pretty sure everybody would love to get a check for a couple racks in the mailbox with no strings attached. It happened to me and it can happen to you. All you gotta do is go to the New York State Comptrollers website and search to see if you have unclaimed funds. I am not saying everyone will be listed but if you search by last name im pretty sure you will at least see some-body you know name listed. All you have to do is click your name which usual-ly has an address listed that should be familiar. After that you just enter your social so they can confirm that its you and you will get a check in the mail if it is. I got a check for over $3700 and it was mailed within a week or so. It said it was from a bank that went out of business but I definately dont remember

leaving that much bread in the bank ever. D`ont be fooled either because I was contacted weeks prior by a firm that said they specialized in ffinding money and they wanted 10%. Why let them get a piece of the cash when they are doing nothing more than typing my info on the same site, taking their cut, and sending me the rest. I thought about doing this myself seeing how I searched and found many friends and family members on the site. Most people dont believe me when I tell them or afraid to type the social security number in but its an offical NYS Goverment operated site..they already know your info. And that brings up another question....Why site..they already know your info. And that brings up another question....Why

dont they contact you and just send you the money?

For your protection, banks, insurance companies, utilities, investment compa-nies and many other businesses are required by State law to surrender inac-tive accounts to the State. These accounts are known as lost, abandoned,

or unclaimed funds. The Office of the State Comptroller serves as custodian of this money. If you can prove you are entitled to the money, we will gladly return it to you, at any time, without charge. Until the money is claimed, it is used by the States Gen-eral Funds, serving the citizens and taxpayers of the State of New York.

The website is http://www.osc.state.ny.us/ouf/ and I urge you all to go and check it out..

  • If you real If you really want to make a living doing music, you REALLY have to love it. Don't expect to make three songs that sound like Afro Jack's latest hit and expect to get "big". Write and produce because you love making music you're proud of. Stay true to your sound, your vision, and don't let some negative feedback slow you down. Also, don't burn bridges...EVER! You might run into people that get under your skin, but you never know

when you'll be able to work well together in the future I love switching my styles u I love switching my styles up. I've done everything from classical trombone choirs to hardcore bands. Right now I am working on Pop,

Metal, Hip Hop, and Country. I work with I work with Pro Tools HD. Some of my favorite pieces of gear are my Folcrom Summing Mixer and my Aurora GTQ2 Mic Pre. The Summing Mixer takes every digital mix and gives it that "analog sound". It makes them wider, bigger, and much more pleasing to listen to. The Aurora mic pre makes vocals sound HUGE and punchy. It was hand wired for me and is

the first piece in my vocal chain. I'm aI'm always inspired by good music. The producers that got me interested in this job were Neal Avron, Rick Rubin, Jim Wirt, and Matt Squire.

You can listen to my reel on Sound Cloud or my website.Website: www.swaggerrecordingstudios.com

Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/swaggerstudiosBuy Aaron Rothe's full album, The Freaks EP, on iTunes

I abso I absolutely love Los Angeles, but I still believe that some of the most talented people I've ever met are in Rochester, NY. Link up with friends, make great music, and support each other. This isn't a competition. The more successful your homies get, the more successful you will become. Be encouraging, be helpful, be positive, and help the scene become great.

  • EERIE CANAL

  • EERIE CANALContinued on next page

S: State your nationality and age please?E: I am from the nation of Canalia and my physical body

is 29 earth years.S: And your spiritual body?

E: My spiritual body does not recognize time but I feel like love, most of the time.

S: So leS: So lets talk about your movie and how you landed a role alongside Lynn Whitfield.

E: So I got the role by being true to myself and humble when the opportunity crossed my path.

S: Was it a great opportunity?E: E: Magnificent opportunity it really helped evolve my understanding of my self worth. And that has noth-ing to do with how much money they paid me, you know. I was in the streets of Rochester doing my

hip-hop and that was about my life and I ended up in a movie about my life which means they want to know

    more. Thats cool.S: Future plans?

E: E: My future plans are to open my school of theosophi-cal militia training and its called the ancient order of kemetic nights. Our public outreach faction is

called the nightmare guild, and Im really putting a lot of my energy into getting ready to accept students and begin to disseminate the kind of understanding that is

becoming my rise in the entertainment industry. S: What is a Canalian?

E: A Canalian is any person who allows the true them to flow forth like water from a core of confusion, that's the humility. There's a lot that dont make sense to us, kind of like a strange canal. So Canalians are

those who are flowing free.S: WS: Where did you come up with the name Eerie Canal,

and what does it stand for?E: I cE: I came up with the name Eerie Canal because there's a geographical place called the Erie Canal in my home-town, Rochester, NY. I decided to be called that name because it was a place that was magical for me in my

strange journey of life. When I put words together, it's not just to rhyme them; they have to have a meaning, so

of course its a code.S: So who are you working with now as far as music

and collaborations in the future?E: E: The project Im working on lyrically is going to be heavily me and my KMG team. As far as production the Kings faith team has brought me in contact with some really cool people at Sony those names I am not al-

lowed to drop in interviews, but people who follow my music know I have done a lot with local artists on the Exodus LP as far as production. For this next album Im eexcited about new opportunities and exploring them.

  • S: Locally whos on your radar?E: IE: Im watching Golden, Thats my girl right there she doing her thang, Im proud of her. Im watching a couple of people who arent doing a lot as well because I wish they were doing more. I got my eye on Neesha G.I watch the female emcees, the fellas got their thing on lock. There are a couple female emcees

Id like to see shineS: Okay back to the movie Kings Faith, Where can we see it?E: E: They can see it in their dreams and nightmares. It was play-ing at Cinemark Tinseltown, and Regal Henrietta. It ran for 6 weeks at Tinseltown and Im really frustrated that a lot of the people that are finally becoming aware that I was in a major motion picture are reaching out to me and still have not seen the movie.6 weeks in a major theatre is a beautiful run for a film and if they have not seen it in the theatre it will be re-leased on dvd in Sept. and of course there will be a major mar-keting push and hopefully I will be having new music to release

at the same time.S: Where can we purchase or hear your music?

E: Everything is funneled through my homepage at myeerieca-nal.co

S: I feel people misunderstand great minds and sometimes con-sider us intelligent ones crazy. What do you say to that?

E: I say we are crazy and I say you have to be crazier to not feel an urge to change almost everything you have ever known in

order to know yourself againS: Anything else you would like to add?

    E: Welcome to pure flow
