Summer Time Travelers aims to inspire a lifelong interest in history and historical museums. All Time Travelers programs feature: Hands-on activities & demonstrations A craft to take home Real historic artifacts A fun & welcoming atmosphere Your choice of two separate age groups: Juniors (Ages 6-9) Pre-teens (Ages 9-12) Wednesday, June 29, 10am-12pm Wednesday, July 13, 10am-12pm Wednesday, July 27, 10am-12pm Wednesday, August 24, 10am-12pm Create a cool local sports history pennant  Play a miniature version of croquet!  Go Barnstorming with the Watervliet “Bloomer Girls” Baseball Team from 100 years ago Make your own candle and yarn doll  Take home a cup-and-ball game  Taste fresh churned butter  Learn how pioneers used horses and other animals on the frontier Play a game and try some food enjoyed by Native Americans Make a model birch bark canoe  Learn about the Potawatomi “Keepers of the Fire” from southwest Michigan  There is no cost or deadline, but registration is required  to ensure space.
