The Committee of Management of the Ballan and District Community House is pleased to announce that it has been charged with the responsibility of managing the Mechanics’ Institute Reserve by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.
The collective so formed establishes a Community Centre which offers a variety of activities with the Senior Citizens Hall adjacent and the House’s new Men’s Shed. An open House was held on 3 December – ‘Welcome to Your Community Centre’ which celebrated the Building’s long association with learning, enjoyment and comradeship and its connection with the Service Groups of this Community.
