WEEK 1: July 9 th – July 12 th Aim High: Earn Your Wings! Teacher: Mr. Michael Wagner Students, in this up-lifting course, we will learn the basic principles of aeronautics and aviation. We will understand how objects take lift and how flight can be achieved by building several types of aircraft including balsawood planes, kites, blimps and rockets! We will also be able to record how high, far and long (time) our flying machines will travel. If you can make the Wright decisions, you too can earn your wings! So buckle-up and hold on, there will be turbulence on this flight! Summer Olympics Teacher: Mrs. Ashley DiGidio Don’t want the sports to end? Come join us for four days filled with all the fun activities and games that we play on a daily basis during the school year! Activities include, but are not limited to, Steal the Bacon, Capture the Flag, Kickball, Wiffle-Ball, football, soccer, basketball, and physical fitness. Through this program, children will be able to develop and improve their skills for individual games and sports, while improving their physical fitness. The children will also use their creative minds to come up with their own game, which they will play on the final day. 3 Dimensional Design and Exploration Teacher: Mr. Christopher Robinson Our students will explore and learn about 3D design. Grab your ticket and let’s take a trip around the world to learn about different architectural buildings. Test your architectural skills and build your own building too. Dig your hands into earth clay and create a sculptor. Construct your own Paper Mache piñata, and design and explore the world of masks! Nature Adventure Teacher: Mrs. Kristine LePera Come explore the natural world. We will learn how animals protect themselves; survive like a polar bear. Mix our own special blends to make bird feeders that will attract specific bird species. Join us as we learn about geology and grow our own crystal gardens. We will collect water samples, test the water for pollution, and build a water filter to remove anything nasty. RBS Bake Shop Teacher: Mrs. Lisa Moran Mmm! What’s that delicious smell? It’s the RBS Bake Shop, coming this summer. While learning how to measure ingredients, we will be baking cupcakes and cookies. Then we will learn how to pipe icing and create decorations for both. Get your aprons and oven mitts ready and bake with us! *All Pre-K courses will be taught by Miss Krygoski, Miss Clark, and Miss Vozza. Summer STEAM Enrichment Program Overview

The Magical Air Teacher: Mrs. Eva Wilgan Can you hold air in your hands? Come and learn some great tricks using air, bubbles, balloons and paper to see how air behaves in different situations. During our time together, you will perform very interesting experiments that you can try at home as well, build a toy car, make some animal shapes with balloons and so much more. Mysteries of the Unknown Teacher: Mr. Michael Wagner Students will investigate different mythological tales and places to research what society has classified as “the unknown”. The Bermuda Triangle, Bigfoot, Tunguska, the Lochness Monster, unicorns, and Stonehenge are just some of the different types of mystical places and phenomenon students will research. In this digital age, learning how to code is like learning to speak a universal language. You will learn the basics of coding through games and fun! You will even get to write your own game code. City Builders Teacher: Mrs. Moran Learning about city communities can be fun… when you add Legos! In this class, we will be learning about what makes up a city neighborhood and then building our own. Each day we will add to what we made the day before to make a complete city block by the end of the week. Come build with us! Mystical Creatures Teacher: Mr. Christopher Robinson As students focus on myths in Mr. Wagner’s class, we will create our own creatures and mythological stories. You will get to be an archeologist and create a clay creature that you have found on your adventure. You will paint your own mystical creature that you have discovered on a cave wall. Take a trip in your imagination and create your own mystical world!

*All Pre-K courses will be taught by Miss Krygoski, Miss Clark, and Miss Vozza

WEEK 3: July 23rd -July 26th

Crazy Concoctions Teacher: Mrs. Trish Quinn Hey kids, get your slime on! Have fun creating glitter slime concoctions, floam, magnetic slime, glow in the dark slime!
