All practitioners attend regular training and we work as a team to plan,

prepare and create programmes together.

All of our practitioners have an Enhanced CRB

and have attended Safeguarding, Equity in

Your Coaching and Emergency First Aid

training.

When, what, where and how? Summer Shorts is a one-off fun week of music, dance and drama for people with a learning disability. It is taking place from Monday 6th – Friday 10th August. Each day runs from 9.30am—3.30pm and it will take place in our bright and airy ‘TIN Dance Space’ at our base in Framwellgate Moor, Durham. Activities will include:

Opportunities to move and create through dance

Opportunities to act and create in drama

Opportunities to sing or play an instrument in music Each day will follow a different theme so attending on some days and not others does not affect your ability to join in. People can attend for as many of the days they wish. There are a maximum of 15 places available each day!

How to join There is a cost to attend which is £30 per day and there is a reduction down to £120 for anybody who books all five days (20% off). There are 15 places available. All participants must be 16+ years of age.
