AT A GLANCE
The Summer School in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Financial Manage-ment in Fribourg, Switzerland, is a four-week program, designed for Swiss and international Undergraduate students.
During these four exciting and challen-ging weeks, participants will discover their own entrepreneurial vision, attend lectures and company visits, discuss case studies, and explore Swiss entre-preneurial ecosystem while discovering local culture; participants will establish networks with Swiss and connect with people from all over the world.

ACADEMIC PROGRAM
The International Summer School offers a varied and intensive program, specia-lized in Financial Management for entre-preneurs and Entrepreneurship and Inno-vation. This program provides knowledge, tools and coaching needed, to undertake entrepreneurial activities in international environment, using different manage-ment approaches in Europe.
The Summer School is a four-week se-minar, taught in English, by international and experienced lecturers and entre-preneurs. The courses are build on 10 years of Entrepreneurial studies; they are academically challenging with a strong applied management focus. Interaction between students and lecturers is highly encouraged. Our program offers two different modules, each module includes field trips to different Swiss companies related to the program topic
CULTURAL AND NETWORKING PROGRAM
Attractive cultural and social events will make the participants’ stay, an unforget-table experience; the program features a tour of old town Fribourg as well as ex-cursions to cultural and historical sites in the state of Fribourg and Bern; it also in-cludes different networking events where the participants will have the opportunity to interact with local and international students and entrepreneurs; field trips to different Swiss companies in Zurich, Geneva, Basel and beyond are organized.
An outdoor event will be organized to experience «Swiss Traditional fondue» completing this Summer school in Swit-zerland.

WHY STUDY IN SWITZERLAND?
Switzerland has achieved top scores in innovation and creativity for the last se-ven consecutive years, according to the latest World Economic Forum Global Competitiveness Report 2016. In fact, it is the overall innovation leader, outper-forming all over EU member states. Its growth performance is also above that of the EU28 and its exceptional perfor-mance in terms of its intellectual assets and economic indicators.
THE COUNTRYSwitzerland has a great deal to offer: cultural diversity, multilingualism, stun-ning scenery and, of course, its people. It has four national languages, (German, French, Italian and Romansch). Switzer-land prides itself on its high standard of publicly-funded education. Its economy is based on a highly qualified labor force performing highly skilled work. Which in-clude micro-technology, hi-tech, biotech-nology andpharmaceuticals, as well as banking and insurance. Small and medium-sized en-terprises (representing 98% of the total) play an extremely important role for the Swiss economy.

ADMISSION & REQUIREMENTS
This program is designed for international undergraduate students with excellent academic achievement. English skills (advanced level: European levels B2 written/C1 oral) are essential and other documents are require:
• HEG-FR Application form• Updated CV in English• Letter of motivation• Transcript of the most recent grade
average• International Insurance
CREDITS
The modules include contact hours, self-study time, preparation work and company visits. The duration of each mo-dule is four weeks. Our Summer School participants obtain 10 ECTS credits for the two modules. The ECTS credits are awarded for:
• Adaptation of the preparation lite-rature.
• Writing four short briefing papers on questions set by the lecturers based on the preparatory literature.
• Participation in the Summer School (contact hours, company visits, cultural and social activities).
• Team work
Participants will receive an official trans-cript of records featuring the ECTS credits achieved on the successful completion of the program.
ACCOMMODATION & SUPPORT
Participants will be accommodated close to the university campus in residences or in furnished rooms in apartments. (Breakfast is not included) The accom-modation is located in quiet and safe neighbourhoods in Fribourg. Amenities and shops are within walking distance. We guarantee professional assistance by the entire process of the programme.
VENUE AND FACILITIES
All courses are held at the Pérolles cam-pus of the School of Management Fri-bourg, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland, in modern and well-equipped rooms. Access to study areas, Campus and computer facilities, free wireless internet access is provided for all participants.
FEES
The program fee covers, the tuition fee for the course (two modules), accommo-dation, organization of all company visits, cultural and social events, welcome and farewell dinner, transfer from HEG-FR to the company visits and all-inclusive out-door event.

The city of Fribourg (in French) and Frei-burg (in German) is the bilingual capital of the Swiss Canton of Fribourg and the district of Sarine. It is located on the banks of the river Sarine/Saane on the Swiss plateau, and is an important eco-nomic, administrative, and educational center on the cultural border between the
tistically as well as its night life. Fribourg is especially popular with students: its bi-lingualism (French and German) present a major plus for students keen on picking up an additional language.

MODULE 2: FINANCIAL MANA-GEMENT: A GLOBAL PERSPEC-TIVE FOR ENTREPRENEURS
Knowledge tools and conceptual framework for thinking and acting suc-cessfully in an entrepreneurial environ-ment. Lecture to understand the entrepreneurial spirit, with the aid of a dynamic model and students` promotion of entrepreneu-rial activities.

To learn and use a systemic model of vi-sionary thinking to design entrepreneurial activity systems
To provide the knowledge, tools and conceptual framework needed to under-take entrepreneurial activities in an inter-national environment
Identifying business opportunities, and establishing the support structure needed to translate their ideas into action.
To implement the knowledge and motiva-tion acquired during the entrepreneurial summer school, in their participants-own business ideas.
