Course OfferingsStudents will earn 1/2 credit for each course.

• AlgebraI(morningsession)• AlgebraII(afternoonsession)

- These algebra courses are designed to strengthen each student’s mathematical skills. Students will receive individual attention according to individual needs and skill levels.

• PhysicalEducationI(morningsession)- This couse will meet the semester requirement of Physical Education I. A variety of team activities will include basketball, volleyball, tennis, whiffle ball, badminton, soccer, and track & field.

• PhysicalEducationII(afternoonsession)- This course is a continuation of skills and activities from Physical Education I. New activities will be introduced, as well.

• ComputerApplications(afternoonsession)- Hybrid course, which meets on Mondays in person. Modules and communication with the instructor are completed online throughout the rest of the week. - Students will complete projects that allow them to go beyond basics of 2010 Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. - Project-based applications reinforce computer applications, document formats, data bases, spreadsheets, presentations, and workforce skills.- Adobe Photoshop, Google Docs, and web-based programs will be used.- Cyber safety, digital citizenship, and information fluency are integrated and emphasized throughout the course.

CourseTuition• Total cost per course: $350• Registration fee (due May 18): $50• Tuition (due first day of class): $300

CourseGrades• Students will receive 1/2 credit for the

successful completion of each for-credit summer school course.

• Credits apply toward graduation requirements.• Grades will be factored into GPA.• If a student is repeating a course, credit will

only be given if the student has previously received a grade lower than a C-, and the GPA will be recalculated.

Attendance• Daily attendance is taken.• If a student misses more than two days, he/she

will be dropped from the course.• All absences must be reported by a parent at

(920) 429-6191.

DressCode• Casual dress.• Clean and respectful, consistent with the core

values of NDA.• Physical Education I will inform students of

appropriate dress on first day.

Discipline• Students are expected to comply with NDA’s

behavior policies.• Any issues relating to disciplinary matters will

be referred by the teacher to an administrator and handled according to NDA’s policies outlined in the Student and Parent Handbook, which can be found on NDA’s website.
