ArtPrize, 2018 for his large 3D, Reverse Perspective

David will explain his painting and show how and

why the illusion works. As author, he will discuss his

young adult “Blackwater Pond” series, and present

his newest book released May 2,

July 16 - Thornapple Woodlands: Honey Bee Program

11am-12pm

At the Cedar Springs Middle School

Explore the universe of honey bees by learning the three

types of bees in a hive, how bees produce honey and how

it is harvested, as well as the importance of honey bees to

our food supply through pollination. Find out why the bee-

keeper wears a suit that makes him look like an astronaut,

and discover how to make space in your world for honey

bees. After the presentation the audience can have a taste

of honey, produce a hand-rolled beeswax candle to take

home, and view live honey bees in the safe, controlled

environment of an observation hive.

At the Cedar Springs Middle School

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first Apollo mission

to land on the moon. Investigate how gravity keeps the

moon in orbit around the earth and what it takes to escape

Earth’s gravity to get to the moon. Experience the creation

of moon craters and landing on the moon. Learn about

current and future missions to other moons and planets

in our solar system. Up, up and away!

Every Tuesday - 10:00am-10:30am On Tuesdays from 10am-10:30am, weekly program

for ages birth to 18 months old with a caregiver. Join

us for a fun time practicing listening and language

skills with songs, rhymes, a story, and playtime! It’s a

great way to meet new families and bond with your

child all while they learn and grow!

Ages 18 months-4

Every Tuesday from 11:00am-11:45am Starts Tuesday, June 11th

Starting June 11, on Tuesday’s from 11am-11:45am,

weekly program for ages 18 months-4 generally, but
