Message from SCC:

Our Summer Program offers a lot of opportunities for outdoor fun and activities that promise to make learning a joyful experience. We are so blessed that we can utilize our Outdoor Classroom during this time! Your children will enjoy a variety of sand and water activities, as well as celebrating different cultures. We will also include weekly Chapel and Bible stories to focus on learning God’s word. Children that are headed to Kindergarten in the fall will continue in the process of preparing for that transition. - Meagan Kraszewski, Director & Kristin Thomas, Assistant Director

Summer Program • Summer Preschool is offered in one 5-week session.

It is held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from

8:30-11:30. One 5-week Session: July 6th-August 7th. Now includes VBS Week!

• Our Full Day Program with Preschool is offered for the 5-week session.

Children can attend between the hours of 7:00AM and 6:00PM

• Our Eight Hour Program with Preschool is offered for the 5-week session.

Children can attend between 7:00AM and 3:00PM or 8:00AM and 4:00PM

July 20th - August 7th Units will include: Forest Life, Camping & Wildlife: Our children will learn about our local forest animals,

camping, and how to nurture nature. The Lizard Wizard will be here on Tuesday, July 21st

with all his exotic animals and reptiles. He will bring a variety of creatures for the children to

see including several snakes, lizards, frogs, and turtles! O’Neill Park: (July 20th) - Each classroom will hike within their own groups. Our school is

blessed to have O’Neill Park in our “back yard”. We will hike to the park and have our snack

while listening to a story. Throughout our hike we will learn about the different plants and

animals that live in O’Neill.

It’s a Small World After All: Each classroom will be focusing on a different culture from

around the world. Children will make costumes and the school will provide snacks to represent

the special culture they are learning about. On July 30th, we will have an International

Celebration. In their classroom, children will celebrate what they have learned with food, music,

dance, and costumes.

Summer Preschool Fun July 6th - July 17th Units will include:

Science of Bubbles: Children will have fun learning all about bubbles and of course, they will

get to test out what they learn by making their own bubbles! To top it off the students will view

and participate in a Bubble Show on Tuesday, July 7th from 9:15AM-10:15AM provided by

Bubblemania.

Fourth of July Celebration: (July 9th) Children will celebrate our country’s independence

together with a Fourth of July Parade with their own classrooms. They will make necklaces and

hats and participate in other fun activities as part of the celebration!

Vacation Bible School: (August 3rd–7th) Format TBD

Splash Days: (July 14th, July 16th, July 28th & July 31st) - Each classroom will have an assigned

day. We will have a variety of water fun available such as sprinklers & water wiggles. PLEASE

send a beach towel, bathing suit, and sunscreen in a separate bag labeled with your child’s

name.

Ice Cream Making Fun: (Mondays, July 13th & July 27th) We will enjoy an ice cream social.

Children will build their own Ice Cream Sundae with fresh fruit and toppings.

Sandcastle Building Event: (Fridays, July 17th & 24th) - Each classroom will have an assigned

day. We will be building sandcastles with lots of water and special decorations. This event can

get a little messy so please dress your child accordingly.

MORNING PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

8:30AM – 11:30AM Morning Preschool is offered for one 5-week session held on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday mornings from 8:30 -11:30 a.m.

EIGHT HOUR DAY PROGRAM 7:00am – 3:00pm or 8:00am – 4:00pm (includes preschool)

Our 8 Hour Day Program with Preschool is offered for 5 weeks (from July 6th – August 7th).

• M, W, F or T, W, TH 3 Eight Hour days $910.00

• M-F 5 Eight Hour days $1,270.00

FULL DAY PROGRAM

Registration Instructions – Register through MyProcare: New Families- 1. Go to https://www.myprocare.com/Login/EnterEmail or visit saddlebackchildrencenter.org and go to the admissions page. 2. Once you enter your email address, you will receive a code to set up your parent portal through MyProcare. 3. Once your initial registration is approved, you will need to then follow the instructions below as if you are a returning family. 4. In addition to step 5 below, you will receive an enrollment packet to complete prior to your child’s start date.

Returning Families- 1. Go to MyProcare.com. 2. Enter your email address (the email you have on file with Saddleback Children's Center) and choose Go. 3. From your MyProcare homepage, click on the menu, then click on “registration” and choose the program of interest. 4. Once you select the program of interest you will also be required to pay a registration fee using TuitionExpress. 5. Once your registration is approved, you will receive a confirmation email. Please bring in the printed and signed confirmation page to the office once complete. This is required for admittance and will remain in your child’s file.

SUMMARY OF FINANCIAL POLICIES: SUMMER 2020

New and Returning Students: • A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee must be paid when you register to reserve your space.

Payment Schedule: • Tuition for our Summer session is due in full by June 15th.

• The last day to withdraw from our summer program and receive a full tuition refund is July 6th, with the exception of the COVID-19 disclosure.

COVID-19 Disclosure: • If we are unable to open for our summer program due to further COVID-19 restrictions, a full tuition refund

will be issued.

**Please Note: • Our school will also be closed during the week of August 10th-14th.

• Our school will re-open for the Fall Session Full Day Programs on August 17th, and Preschool Programs on August 24th.
