The emu is the world’s second largest bird, with an average height of 1.85 metres and weight of 65kg. It cannot fly, but it can run up to 50km per hour. Emus are only found in Australia so imagine the surprise of students in Delaware, USA, who spotted an emu running through their school grounds last year!
