Summer of 2014
Samantha Kautz
InternshipThe
The following presentation contains visual and written representation of the activities that I partook in over the Summer of 2014. In no way, shape, or form could I possibly fit every design machine, signage, or any other possible visuals that I may have issued in each designated territory into this presentation. I will do my best to show you the impact that I had throughout this past summer in terms of visual impact, new outlets, new brands sold in, and any miscellaneous ventures I may want to include in the presentation. Again, please keep in mind that not all of my efforts from the past 10 weeks are included.
Enjoy!

Devon’s Candy FactoryMackinaw City
Surry Hill (mostly because their banner looks so pretty!)
Mackinac Island
Told you it’s pretty!
The banner that is..not the man sitting on the bench.
The Poppery is jam packed with Coca-Cola signage that you will notice right when you walk in. This includes everything from design machine to posters and a Pure Michigan banner.
I decked out the most popular lunch spot in Petoskey with combos, umbrellas, banners, white boards, signs, and many more! You’ll just have to see how great it is for yourself.
Devon’s is on the list purely because of the custom combo window clings you will see as you drive by. They may have took for ever but they sure did turn out pretty! Not to mention the many signs, banners, and re-charge barrels that you will also find inside.

Stars of the ShowMighty Mac
Martha’s
Mighty Mac has a little bit of everything. This includes two combo boards, chalk board, Pure Michigan Statics on the doors, table tents and a banner.
You will see the Coca-Cola logo everywhere you turn in Martha’s. The sweet shop has a Pure Michigan Banner, counter stands, white boards, an “enjoy summer” banner, table tents, and old fashion Coca-Cola tins.

Miscellaneous
You will find these table tents ALL OVER the island
I made 6 of these large banners about half way through the internship. You will be able to find them all over Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island.
I made these stickers off of design machine and put them up everywhere I could. The place you will see them the most is Charlevoix!
**In addition to my personal design machine creations, I was also able to take everything from white boards to posters, banners, re-charge barrels, coolers, tin signs, clear Pure Michigan statics and
anything else that I could possibly find and place them in as many accounts as I could.
During my time this summer I also participated in Mackinac Island events such as the taste of Mackinac and the Lilac parade.

Banners
Coolers
You won’t find any banners hanging outside unless you are in St. Ignace, however, you will find them hanging in stores from Mackinac Island to Charlevoix. Pictured above are banners you will find at Mackinac Bike Rack (Mackinac Island) and Harborside Deli (Bay Harbor).
I placed a total of 9 re-chargable barrels, 3 in Charlevoix and 6 in Mackinaw City. I was also able to place a few new coolers, ranging from retro (like the one pictured above at Cre8tvie Cupcake in Charlevoix) to double door coolers like the one you will find at Mackinaw Trail Winery.
Overall, my experience here at Coca-Cola has been great. I learned many things such as how important relationships can be in order for one
to achieve success in a role and that self motivation goes a long way. I’m glad I got the opportunity to work for such an iconic company.
I am also happy to say that I will be able to take many of the lessons and skills I learned throughout the summer and apply them in my future
career.
Thank you to everyone I worked with this summer and also thank you for letting me be a part of the
Shoreline Project this year.
Thanks again!
