sarah Lough Photography is very pleased to offer my clients summer mini-sessions this season! a mini-session generally lasts 30 minutes and can include photographs of you, your family, children, pets – anything special in your life you’d like documented! i book blocks of mini-sessions with a group of clients during a single evening in a beautiful outdoor location. this short 30-minute timeframe is also ideal for young children who might get tired or distracted easily. mini-sessions are wonderful way to get professional photographs which you may turn into archival works of art for your home.

what shouLd i wear?
my most-asKed Question oF aLL time has ConsistentLy been “what shouLd i wear to my session?” aLthough there’s no right or wrong answer For that, there are a Few basiC Pointers i give out For you to KeeP in mind!
“Bright colors look great on camera! Floral print dresses, jeans and a bright-colored blouse, or a multi-color knit wrap will add focal points and interest in your images. For the guys, a colorful tie, striped shirts or even fun solid color socks will look fabulous.

Accessorize! Bright, fun jewelry, a colored scarf, a floral headband or even a distressed leather bag over the shoulder are all wonderful ways to spice up your photographs. Floral bouquets and balloons are a favorite, especially with the little ones. get creative, and don’t be afraid to try out new looks!

Professional hair and makeup can really make a big difference in front of the lens. Make sure to tell your makeup artist (or remind yourself, if you’re doing it D.I.Y.) to put on extra makeup - more than you normally - because it gets washed out a bit on camera. If you look in the mirror and you think you’ve put on a bit too much, it’s probably just about perfect for pictures!
