If you love the outdoors and want to zip it up a bit this summer, bring your family to our new Skywood Eco Adventure Park. It is Ontario’s largest zipline and aerial adventure experience, located in the heart of the 1000 Islands. And we have a course to suit all skill levels – even the little ones. Afterwards, you can relax and sink your toes into the warm sand at one of our beaches. Later, finish your day sharing stories around a campfire, under the starry skies at one of our campgrounds. There’s nothing like it for building family memories.
If you feel like you really need to get away from it all, you can step waaay back in time at Upper Canada Village or Fort Henry National Historic Site. You can dress up like a pioneer from the 1860s, fire a cannon or learn to march as an 1860s British military recruit. Both sites offer tons of hands-on experiences, interesting costumed interpreters and memories to last a lifetime. Come visit us this summer at Parks of the St. Lawrence. My family loves it, and yours will too.

Squishing your toes in the sand, splashing in the water and paddling along the shores; beach days are pretty perfect family time. And with 6 incredible beaches along the St. Lawrence River, you’ll find the perfect sandy spot to lay out your beach towel.
Pails and shovels are essential for the little ones but kayaks and canoes are pretty cool ways for Mom and Dad to join in on the fun. The tranquil waters and scenic views make for some picture perfect paddling at our beaches.
the lost Villages Along the Long Sault Parkway you’ll find 11 islands connected by causeways and bridges, all the former hilltops of the Lost Villages. These villages were flooded deliberately in 1958 to make way for the International Seaway. Today, signs of these ghostly communities remain and make for a scuba diver’s dream.
1. Brown’s Bay Two beautiful sandy beaches, picnic areas with sun or shade and a great place to paddle your canoe or kayak.
2. Crysler Beach Expand your beach day and take the miniature train to Upper Canada Village, located next door.
3. Farran Park Beach & Picnic area Located on a peninsula that juts out into the St. Lawrence River; Farran Beach is a beautiful sandbank, perfect for sunbathing.
4. woodlands This wooded setting provides lots of shaded areas for relaxing and has two amazing sandy, private beaches.
5. Milles roches On the Long Sault Parkway you can rent a kayak or canoe at the beautiful Milles Roches beach. This is the largest public beach on the St. Lawrence corridor.
6. Glengarry Beach Sitting on the tranquil shores of Lake St. Francis on the St. Lawrence River with a spectacular view of the majestic spires of Saint-Anicet and the Adirondack Mountains.

“Tee time with the kids,” is a great way to introduce little ones to the great game of golf. Children under 12 play for free with a paying adult. So Mom and Dad, Gramps and Gran... get them out on the green and you might find you have a worthy opponent!
Known for the best greens in Ontario, this 6,922 yards, 18 holes, championship golf course is a great course to sink a few putts this summer.
Getting around the golf course, just got a “hole” lot more exciting! We have the most golfboards in Ontario, so hop on and surf our turf.
