Parents/Guardians, You have the option to check out the iPad for the summer. Please fill out the attached form and return it with your child’s teacher to check the iPad out for the summer. If we do not receive a complete and signed form your child’s iPad will be picked up and stored at the campus. Below is some important information to keep in mind. iPad Tips: 1. Do not leave the iPad in your car. The heat may damage the device. 2. Do not wet the iPad. The protective case is NOT waterproof. 3. Keep your iPad clean. Do not eat or drink while using the iPad. 4. Charge your iPad on a table and not on a chair or the floor where it might get stepped on. Lost or Stolen iPad– Parents/Guardians are responsible to pay for the cost to replace the lost or stolen device. They are also responsible to report the incident to the city police or campus police. A copy of the police report will need to be turned in to the campus. Cost of iPad: $293.00 Lost or Stolen Accessories – Parents/Guardians are responsible to pay for the cost to replace the accessories. iPad Charger - $17.50 iPad Summer Repairs – iPads that need repairs during the summer can be turned in to the campus. Campus Dates: June 5 - June 29, 2018 Campus Time: 8:00am – 2:00pm. iPad Checkout for Summer Use Irreparable Damage Fee – The fee to replace a device that cannot be repaired due to negligence is $100. Some examples of negligence: Using an iPad near water (water damage), leaving an iPad in the car (heat damage), hitting or stepping on the device (iPad in pieces) and others.
