    Employees showed less interest in filling up the questionnaires.

    The industry guide at the company did not have ample time to spare

    for the present project.

    Recruitment and selection is a very time consuming process.

    This is an independent study and the observations may not comply

    with those would have been made by an experienced professional.

    The very dichotomous nature of the questionnaire offering only two

    choices i.e. YES or NO made it difficult to ascertain the true and

    honest feeling of the employees, who invariably tried to shield their

    honest responses about the company taking the benefit of

    dichotomous responses in the shape of YES or NO.

    Despite the fact that the recruit by the company was being done

    for its newly opened branch office at Patna in absence of full

    fledged infrastructure, the recruitment and selection process of

    the company appeared to be very professionally managed.

    Though insufficient manpower made the process long, also thefact that the HR manager was shuttling between Patna and head

    office at Noida to seek instructions and clearance of the board

    made the process of selection lengthy and cumber some.

    The company should have devised ways and means ofexpediting the whole process for faster recruitment.

    The company can also improve upon its selection process by

    conducting various psychological as well as personality tests for

    the candidates before actually selecting them for the concerned

    job in the organization.

    Majority of the employees seemed to be satisfied with the selection criteriaand process of recruitment of the company. But according to some of the

    employees, the interview process was long and repeatitive as they were

    subjected to two rounds of interview i.e. telephonic interview and was

    personal interview. Therefore the company can make the interview rounds

    more innovative keeping in mind that it should not be very long andrepeatitive in nature.

    As some of the employees were not in favor of recruitment only through

    portals, the company may use some of the traditional means of

    recruitment also i.e. through advertisement in print and visual media.

    RECOMMENDATIONS

    The company should have devised ways and means of

    expediting the whole process for faster recruitment.

    The company can also improve upon its selection process

    by conducting various psychological as well as personalitytests for the candidates before actually selecting them for

    the concerned job in the organization.

    From the responses it appeared that some of the employees

    were not effectively involved in team work participation.

    Therefore the company should try and involve every

    employee to participate in team work efforts, so that no

    one feels left out.
