Activity of Niagara Falls By Irene On July 15th we went to the fantastic Niagara Falls. It was a very highly anticipated activity for everyone (even Suzanne, who has visited these beautiful places a lot of times!).

When we arrived there, the first one that we done was going to the boat. The views of the three falls in that perspective are amazing! We took pictures of the places and ourselves with red big raincoats; it’s was very funny moment. Then, we looked at the nature, the power of the water, and felt our wet skin due to the humidity.

The emotional ship finished and we had free time for discovered ourselves the place. Some people went to the Clifton Hills and others preferred admiring the falls in different perspectives. Clifton Hill is a modern and commercial street, in my opinion, strange too, because it’s so near to one of the best things of nature in the whole world!

Finally, we waited the bus and returned to Welland. All the comments said that it was a fantastic experience that we will always have in our memory.

Toronto Trip By Arianna

Saturday, July 18th the Niagara College went away to Toronto. We started early in the morning with our yellow bus and arrived in Toronto in the morning. The first thing we did was to note how impressive the city, with its towering skyscrapers. Arriving at the CN Tower we went up the elevator and already you could see a breathtaking view. We walked around and saw all from Toronto and I must say it is really wonderful, we did a lot of photos and had lunch on the CN Tower (Amazing! ;) ). After the tour at the tower we went down and we started photo shooting for Toronto, we saw the town hall square where there was a large stage that housed a concert ahead of the Pan American Games and then we went to Laurence market and the Old Distillery. From there we moved to Chinatown and Kensington Place until we get to Yorkville and the Financial District, we also managed to make a trip to the beach and then running to catch the bus that was waiting for in the square.

Finally we took our colorful bus and we are back in Welland in the evening, tired but happy.

It 'been a day full of excitement and laughter marked by new discoveries, different lifestyles and habits.

1. First Wednesday Activities (park and play volley ball)

The 2015 English summer students went park on July 8, 2015. They are students NC College in WELLAND campus. They are played Volley Ball. They are 6 Teams. They are play very well. They have good sportsmanship and, good players.

2. Third Wednesday Activities (Soccer)

The 2015 English summer program student, went to the fields to play soccer all together, for funny and meeting ourselves! It was good climate, (but so much hot!) and there were a lot of players with enthusiasm for playing, and… why not? For winning. Our team played the semifinal, I think we were a nice team and the most important: we spent a really good times!

Niagara College is big, and it’s very easy for people to get lost. At the beginning, I was constantly asking people in the college “Where is the classroom?”, but I now know where I’m going because I understand the schedule better. This will always happen the first time you arrive somewhere you don’t know where anything is

There are other (Niagara College) campuses around the Niagara Region, but Niagara College Welland Campus is the biggest one, and the one I am currently going to for summer school. It is beautiful and fantastic.

I love my teachers. They have patience with me especially because they speak slowly so I can understand them.

My classmates are wonderful. They help me practice my English.

This is a nice experience. I am happy. Suzanne is an excellent teacher, not only as a teacher but as a human being. She has helped me to learn more, and has helped us all to understand English even better.

I would like to invite anyone. Doesn’t matter how old you are to come to Niagara College. They have people from all ages.

Transportation I wake up early in the morning, because transportation is very punctual. I am living in Niagara Falls and I have to take two buses to arrive to my classes on time. Busses are so punctual that I have never been late for class. The transportation’s service is successful; their time management is very organize and good. There is nothing like this back in my country.

CANADA HAS QUALITY OF LIFE. THANK YOU. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.

By Irene This curse is finishing. It’s time to close our memory book with our best memories in this month and this means to say goodbye. But I prefer saying “see you later”. We have learned a lot of things here. Obviously, we have improved our English thanks to awesome teachers: Suzanne, who has helped us to integrate skills with her dynamic classes; and Steve, who has taught us a lot of thing about Canada with his funny style. In addition, our homestay family, friends… and all the people here, have shared their time with us to improve our skills in English. But we have learned other things, too. Working together, helping to each other, being compressive… and of course, we have made good friends. At first we were only six, and then a big group from Spain arrived. It’s really emotional for me people from different continents can communicate their experiences and customs to other. And now, we have friends for life. Personally, I’ve found a really new hard reason for studying English: meeting people around the world. The time here has been so fast, but it was very intense. See you soon, Niagara College; see you soon friends.
