Planning to improve your English Language skills abroad? We surely can help you get the language skills you need while learning more about the American culture. Our summer general English classes are based at the beautiful campus of Davis College in Toledo, Ohio. The college was established in 1858, and features large classrooms, a comfy student lounge, a cozy library, well-equipped computer labs, and more. Davis College has a small and friendly campus where students receive individualized and immediate attention. Our students can join a variety of extra-curricular activities through which they can strengthen their leadership and interpersonal skills on and off the campus. These activities may include beach trips, picnics, mall shopping, movie nights, bowling, sports/gymnasium short-term membership, local attractions, and more. By joining our Summer Edu.Fun. program, you will not only have an exceptional learning experience in small classes, but you will also enjoy supervised and organized social activities and attend various full-day excursions every Saturday. Our program calls deep attention to conversational skills by which students can learn to better speak the English language, hear and understand spoken English and engage in numerous conversational settings with native speakers of the English language. This will maximize students’ learning exposure and assist them achieve better learning outcomes. We take trust, safety, and ethics very seriously! Therefore, we only accommodate our students in a highly safe and secured homestay/hotel rooms while providing them with around-the-clock supervision to make all days filled with well-being, fun, and learning altogether.

o Diamond: $7,600 (2 months) OR $5,800 (1 month). Package includes:

§ Semi-intensive English learning, weekend activities/trips**, housing, medical insurance,

transportation, two daily meals***, visa application processing, and air tickets.

o Gold: $6,400 (2 months) OR $4,500 (1 month). Package includes:

§ Semi-intensive English learning, weekend activities/trips, housing, medical insurance,

transportation, and two daily meals.

o $2,400 (2 months) OR $1,400 (1 month). Package includes:

§ Semi-intensive English learning only.

* Pricing is in U.S. dollars. Prices can be changed with further notice. ** Admission tickets to Saturday destinations (Cedar Point, Imagination Station, Ford Factory Tour, and Toledo Zoo) are NOT included. Other trips are all inclusive. *** Daily meals are provided in Diamond/Gold packages (breakfast & lunch) on school days and Saturdays. Breakfast is included on Sundays for Diamond/Gold students.

Terms & Refund Policy Upon registration, total package price must be paid to the American Learning Advant-edge or to one of our authorized agents IN FULL. Further instructions with regard to visa issuance and air tickets booking will be provided, upon request. Payment should be paid in CASH OR CREDIT CARDS. To process the application, a non-refundable application fee of $75 (US dollars), which is inclusive in the package pricing. Money received may be refunded (minus the application fee or any incurred costs) in case of:

- Failure to receive visitor visa for reasons beyond abilities of both the student and ALA-edge; - Failure to book a round trip flight by the student or ALA-edge; - Health conditions that impose incapacity of travel; or - Death of the student or a direct relative.

There are 10(ten) calendar days from the date of registration to be eligible for any refund. To be eligible for full refunds, there should not be any additional costs incurred on the ALA-edge, such as flight tickets, visa application processing, etc. Any additional cost will be deducted (minimum of 10% of the package). The applicant may avoid any refund deduction by accepting the full refund value of the package as a “Voucher” good toward a Summer Edu.Fun. Package for next year. Partial refunds may be made in specific cases where there is an evident health condition or personal emergency. Exceptions will be evaluated by ALA-edge administration before refunds are approved. Partial refund can be up to 90% of the total package price. To be refunded, the original receipt and proof of registration must be presented to ALA-edge or to the authorized agent.

Before the day of the interview, please make sure to have proper documentation, which includes: ü Passport valid for at least six months; ü Nonimmigrant Visa Application Form DS-160 confirmation page; ü Application fee payment receipt; ü Recent visa photos to upload to the online application and to take to the scheduled interview; ü Interview appointment letter; and ü Copy of the Edu.Fun. Program Acceptance Letter.

Important Notes

§ The student or his/her legal guardian fully understands and agrees to assume all the risks surrounding the student during the Edu.Fun. Program and all the activities he/she undertakes in connection therewith. The student or the legal guardian also releases and forever discharges ALA-edge, Davis College, and the authorized agents from all liabilities for any injury, theft, damage, and loss, including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees of any nature that the student may at any time have or incur, arising out of or in any way related to any loss, injury, or damage, including but not limited to suffering and death, that may be sustained by the student or by any property belonging to the student, during the Edu.Fun. Program.

§ ALA-edge and the authorized agents are not responsible or liable for any disruption of travel arrangements, or any consequent additional expenses that may be incurred there from.

§ ALA-edge and the authorized agents are not responsible or liable for injury, damage, loss or expense due to sickness, weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, natural disasters, terrorism, change in foreign policies, etc.

§ General wait time is 4-6 Calendar days for the U.S. Embassy or Consulates appointments. Visitor visa processing may take 4 business days to 2 weeks.

§ Visa application fee is $160. It is included ONLY in the Edu.Fun. Diamond package. § Edu.Fun. is recreational in nature. Attending the semi-intensive English course is considered an

enrollment in a short recreational course of study, NOT for credit or toward any degree.
