SHARE JESUS! Right before Jesus ascended back to heaven, He gave His disciples what we call the

“great commission”. I am sure that you know what the commission is—but just in case you don’t, here it is from the Gospels of Matthew and Mark:

Matthew 28:18-20: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I command-ed you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Mark 16:15-16: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.” The question each of us must ask individually, and collectively as a church, is how are

we doing fulfilling the commission? Our job as Christians to our lost world is simply this: SHARE JESUS! Share with everyone you can the good news of what Jesus did for us at the cross and at the empty tomb!

So when we are in the grocery store—share Jesus! When we are at school—share Jesus! When we are at our jobs—share Jesus! When we are at a family reunion—share Jesus! When we go to a ball game—share Jesus! Even when we are in the assembly at the church building—share Jesus! Wherever we go!

You say—but I don’t know what to say—I don’t know how to share Jesus! The good news of Jesus Christ is not that difficult. If you have been redeemed (and if you are a Chris-tian, you have been), then tell them what Jesus has done!

• Jesus came to earth—God in the flesh!

• Jesus went to the cross to pay the penalty for our sins!

• Jesus was buried in a tomb!

• Jesus came out of the tomb alive giving us victory over the grave!

• Jesus will one day return to receive His people! Then ask the person you are sharing with whether they are ready for when Jesus re-

turns! This is where you get to teach them about faith, repentance, confession, immersion and remaining faithful until Jesus returns!

Now GO! As you GO! Wherever you GO! SHARE JESUS! God bless! Keep sharing Jesus! Keep being the church! Keep loving the Lord!
