You will have a quiz worth (50pts) during the first week that will require you to label/identify places on a map, and answer vocabulary questions associated with a map (based solely on Map #1). You will have a second quiz on the 2 nd week of school which will cover physical geography from the attached slides. Your quiz will only be based on Map #1/vocabulary, the others are for more general knowledge and building a foundation moving forward. This assignment will be due the first day of school, late policy will be enforced immediately.

Parts 1 and 2 The goal of this assignment is to begin to recognize physical features and locations in order to build

background knowledge for areas that we will discuss throughout this school year.

You will create a series of maps, please follow all of the directions as you work through this guide. Map #1 will

ONLY be Physical Features. (The World Map)

Locate the following on the map provided; you will label each country, body of water, city and region listed

below. You are also required to mark and label the capitals of all of these countries listed below.

You will have a quiz worth (50pts) during the first week that will require you to label/identify places on a
