1 Mr. Lee AP Human Geography (APHG) [email protected] http://gatornationlearns.weebly.com/ Summer Assignment: 2019-2020 School Year Directions: We are excited to have you in AP Human Geography for the 2019- 2020 school year. This packet contains your summer assignment. The major assignment is a collection of readings with accompanying questions. Format: typed, double-spaced, 12-point font. You can email the assignment to me, at the email address at the top of this page at any point over the summer. I just want your typed answers to the question, I don’t need the articles back – please keep them. Also please make sure that you clearly label your answers and which article they belong to. Due Date: Please have your assignment submitted on schoology by September 6th . Make sure you assignment is saved as a Word document titled: (‘lastname APHuGesummer’ example: ‘Lee APHuGesummer’) Reading Assignments: On the following pages you will find a series of 10 articles and/or book excerpts. Each one was chosen for a reason, and each relates to 1 or more of the units we’ll study throughout the year. When answering the questions, please try not to quote heavily. I don’t simply want you just find the key words and repeat them. Some articles have several questions, and some just have a few. Please answer them in as full and complete a manner as possible (I don’t have a set length in mind for each question unless I noted it in the question itself, e.g. “In 1-2 paragraphs…”) *Note on the Links – in some cases I’ve attached links after some readings. These are supplemental readings (book reviews, interviews, etc) that you might want to look over if you find the article interesting. You do not have to do any work with these, they’re just supplements.
