Both Session I and II and afternoon camp will be held at:

Registration Information: • Current students: Online registration only – please use your Skyward family access to
register • All courses with fees must be paid in full before registration will be accepted. E-funds payment
option is preferred, otherwise mail your checks to the attention of Maureen Lawler: Hartland/Lakeside Summer Splash 800 E. North Shore Drive Hartland WI 53029
• Non-resident fees are set at $30.00 per class. • Non-resident families need to contact Maureen Lawler at [email protected] or (262) 369-
6780 for registration. • Online registration begins March 1. Classes will have caps on enrollment, so please register
early. Registrations must be completed by June 10. • Classes that have less than 8 students may be cancelled and students will be notified to select
another class. • Core Reading and Math Academics will be offered this summer for Grades 4K-7th Grade
• Reading - Keep your child reading all summer long! This workshop will foster a love of reading by engaging students in meaningful reading and writing activities. Students will be engaged in book clubs to enhance higher ordering thinking skills and basic skills work as needed. All types of readers, from the avid to the reluctant, will have opportunities to grow.
• Math - Do you want to keep your child’s math skills sharp during this summer and give him/her a jump start for next year? This workshop is designed to support all types of learners with the core math curriculum. Students will be engaged in collaborative problem solving, communication, and basic skills practice.
Summer Splash Sessions: North Shore Middle School Session I June 20 – July 15 (4 weeks) 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
(No school July 4) Session II July 18 – August 11 (4 weeks) 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Afternoon Camp: The Village of Hartland will run afternoon camps from 12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at North Shore Middle School for Session I and II. Please contact the Village of Hartland directly at 262-367-0352. Camp information will be added to the website soon.

Summer School Online Registration Instructions Online Registration begins on Tuesday, March 1st at 1:00 P.M. and ends on Monday, June 10th at 10:00 P.M. Register early as all classes for enrollment caps and are closed when full. *Please Note: Online registration is for students currently in Grades 4K through 7 in the Hartland/Lakeside School system. All other students must submit paper registration to the District Office. 1. To view the Summer Splash class booklet, log on to the Hartland/Lakeside website at
www.hartlake.org,from the Parents tab, click on the Summer School tab. 2. To sign up for classes, log on to the Hartland/Lakeside website at www.hartlake.org, from the
Parents tab, click on Family Access and log in using your Skyward username and password. 3. Click on the Arena Scheduling tab on the left - you will see your child/children’s names in
the drop down box. Click on the 2015-16 under the name of the child you want to pick classes for.
4. Click the down arrow in the box under period and add the class period (1-4) that you want to
schedule. Click on the Apply Filter tab - this will show the classes that your child can sign up for each period (based on grade level).
5. Click the Add button in front of the class you would like to enroll in. Click the remove
button to remove a class from your child’s schedule. Term refers to the session, T1 runs from June 20th through July 15th, T2 runs from July 18th through August 11th. Prd is the start time: 1 is 8:30, 2 is 9:30, 3 is 10:30 and 4 is 11:30. Clicking on the Arrows at the bottom of the page, gives you more selections. The cost of each class is listed under Subject. Seats Avail tells you how many seats are available for the class. If the class is full, you will need to pick a different class.

6. When you have picked all the classes you want for both sessions, click on the View/Print Schedule tab to verify your student’s schedule. If your selected classes are correct, click on the “X” at the top in the right hand corner to return to the previous page.
7. Once you have picked the classes you want for both sessions, you are ready to submit the classes for this child. Click on the Submit Schedule tab, verify your child’s schedule again and then click Submit Schedule. Print out a copy of your child’s schedule to bring along on the first day. Click the “X” to close the small window. You can now register your next student. Go to the Arena Scheduling tab and select your next child.
8. The last step is paying for your classes. The preferred method of payment is Efunds. After
logging into Efunds, go to the Summer Splash tab under Schools and Add a payment. Payment can also be made by check. Total fees for all summer school classes, for your whole family, can be paid with one check. Send one copy of your child/ren(s) schedules with the check made out to Hartland/Lakeside Schools and marked summer school to the District office, Attention: Maureen Lawler. Payment must be received by June 10th. Once we receive and verify your payments, your child/ren(s) schedules will be approved.

PRESCHOOL MUSIC, LEARNING, AND MOTION CLASS JUNE 20 – JULY 15, 2016
*No School July 4th Music, Learning, and Motion is a preschool class for students entering four-year-old kindergarten in the Fall of 2016. This class will provide children with an introduction to the 4K setting. Students will experience a variety of engaging early learning activities including music, movement, fine motor activities and art. Classes are limited to 10 students. Cost is $30.00 per session.
