Aldershot Town F.C. Community Trust is joining forces with NCS this summer

Week 1 (28 July - 1 August): Sporting residential at a PGL centre

in Liddington, Wiltshire.

Week 2 (4 - 8 August): Sporting residential within 60 minutes of Aldershot

Weeks 3 & 4 (11 - 22 August): Giving something back to the local community

e.g. assisting coaching children in various sports, fund raising for charities etc.

Two weeks of residential sporting and life changing activities include: sailing,

A 55-acre nature reserve on the edge of Aldershot and the source of the River Blackwater. Rowhill Nature Reserve covers 55 acres on the Aldershot-Farnham border. It has mostly mixed deciduous woodland and working coppice and is also the source of the River Blackwater.

An area of 80 acres of woodland in Farnborough,Southwood Woodland is popular with families, offering a natural environment for walking and cycling. Car parking for the woodland is at the end of Kennels Lane.

The Blackwater Valley is maintained as an open space along the borders of Hampshire, Berkshireand Surrey. It runs for approximately 30 km, from the source of the River Blackwater at Rowhill Nature Reserve in Aldershot in the south, northwards to Swallowfield where the river joins the River Whitewater and then the Loddon. The Loddon eventually flows into the River Thames near Reading.
