We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work through this together.

Please Note: Our Recreation Team is using the current information and guidelines from Provincial agencies to inform our summer recreation program off erings. As COVID-19 is unpredictable, we will continue to be adaptable.Programs may need to be changed, moved or cancelled as the pandemic and associated measures evolve. Refunds and/or credits will be made available as needed. We ask that you be patient and understanding if changes need to be made throughout the course of the summer. Thank you.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING• Larger or outdoor spaces may be used to ensure 2m (6 foot) distancing.• Program capacities may be reduced based on the space and type of activity.

Please do not arrive more than 5 mins before your class.• Activities will be modifi ed to focus on individual play with no contact.

Spectators are not permitted at this time.• Facility modifi cations including increased signage, fl oor markings and barriers.

WATER AMBASSADOR PROGRAM This summer, meet our friendly and knowledgeable Water Safety Ambassadors! With our pools closed, and physical distancing measures in place, Water Safety Ambassadors play an important role in drowning prevention. They will be hitting the beaches to promote water safety and drowning prevention by bringing you tips and family friendly activities to the beaches you frequent!

PARK AMBASSADOR PROGRAM Throughout the summer of 2020 The Regional District of Central Kootenay will be sending our new Park Ambassadors out to our local parks across the region. Park Ambassador Staff will be talking with residents about safe-social outdoor activities to promote healthy and active lifestyles during the pandemic.

SUMMER COOL CAMPS REIMAGINEDJuly 6th- August 28th

REGISTER EARLY, LIMITED SPACE! Not your regular cool camps, still a ton of FUN! Choose from: • 3 Day Camp (Monday-Wednesday) • 2 Day Camp (Thursday- Friday) • or Choose Both! These camps are full of Games, Activities, Crafts and Much More!Please make sure you are dressed properly for the weather as camp will be mainly taking place outdoors in the sports fields around the Castlegar Complex. Campers will be provided with covered areas when weather is too hot or too wet.

Bodyweight Bootcamp 16 yrs + | CDRD Soccer Field

Rene is back! She will take you through a powerful and FUN workout using nothing more than your own bodyweight as resistance. Whether you are new to fitness or a regular, this is a great addition to your regimen. This class will give you better body awareness while strengthening your muscles and joints in a safe manner, without the added stress of weights!

Please bring a yoga mat if you are not comfortable on the grass. Equipment will not be provided.

Morning Gentle Vinyasa Flow16 yrs + | CDRD Soccer Field

Join Leah in this gentle practice focusing on moving slowly into basic yoga poses while using the breath as a tool to remain present and mindful. The slower pace of this class allows each pose to be fully enjoyed. The inclusion of stretching & strengthening will enhance your practice and leave you feeling energized for the rest of your day!

Please bring a yoga mat and any other equipment you may need. Equipment will not be provided.

Spin and Core16 yrs + | CDRD Selkirk Room Patio

This class is designed to benefit your body in more ways than one. You will start on your bike for 35 minutes and then move to the mat for 15 minutes of core, and finally, you will end the class with 10 minutes of stretching!

Please bring a water bottle and towel. Yoga mat for core is recommended, or exercise mats can be rented.
