YELADIM GROUPS Camp Yeladim has a group for all preschool age children. Each age unit is designed to engage and stimulate your child to maximize fun in their day camp experience.

2 Year Old Campers Camp Yeladim offers the perfect first summer camp experience for your child to explore new environments and meet new friends in a safe and secure environment. Your two year old camper is surrounded by loving and nurturing counselors who enrich your child with a wide wide variety of fun and educational experiences. 3 Year Old Campers Three year old campers are ready to experience new friends and activities as they expand their awareness of the world around them. These campers venture through the J: jumping and running in the gym, playing in the pool, and learning water safety in group swim lessons in our shallow wading pool. Campers must be 3 years old by August 31, 2016 to enter pool with their class group.

4 Year Old Campers Our oldest campers look forward to outdoor activities and excitement throughout the day. Trips to the pool for swimming, to the gym for sports, and even hikes keep our four year old campers on the move! This camp is the perfect introduction to prepare your child to enter Pre-K and Transitional Kindergarten (TK).

Excellence at CampMake this summer magical for your child at Camp Yeladim! Your preschooler will enjoy the summer camp experience in the security of our Eric & Sheila Samson Family Early Childhood Learning Center. We’ll guide your child through a summer of making new friends, learning, creativity, imagination, and of course, lots of fun!

Pool Play, Water Play & Water Safety Your child will enjoy various types of water play daily. Splashing in the pool, water slides, water tables, sand and water play all add to outdoor enjoyment. All campers bring bathing suits and a change of clothes each day so they can participate in the fun. Our three and four year old campers enjoy their first group swim experience taught by our highly trained aquatics instructors in a positive and safe environment. Introductory water safety and skills complemented by a wide array of safe, age-appropriate developmental pool games are all part of the fun. Campers must be 3 years old by Aug. 31, 2016 to enter pool with their class group. Weekly Guests Each week, special guests and visitors enrich our campers with exciting programs such as magic shows, science experiments, exotic animals, music concerts and dramatic performance. Camp Yeladim campers are always clamoring for these shows and eagerly await each week’s special guests.

Chai “Life” (Entering grades 2 & 3)Sessions 1, 2, 3. Chai campers will have fun participating in a wide variety of activities, learning and developing new skills and building self-confidence. Field trips on Tuesdays.ü Camper: Counselor ratio – 8:1

Theatre Camp (Entering grades 2-8)Sessions 1 & 2 (6-week program). The Aristocats follows French cats Dutchess, her kittens, alley cat Thomas O’Malley and others in a feline adventure set to a hep, jazzy beat. Participants will practice singing, acting and dancing under professional direction. Auditions will be held during the first week of camp and every camper will be assigned both onstage and offstage roles. The production will feature professional costumes and sets plus a cast party after the final performance. ü Camper: Counselor ratio – 8:1

OC Explorers (Entering grades 3-6) Sessions 1, 2 & 3. Campers will explore the sights of Orange County and surrounding cities three times a week and will enjoy the other days on campus participating in a variety of camp activities. ü Camper: Counselor ratio – 10:1

Zahav “Gold” (Entering grades 4 & 5)Sessions 1, 2, 3. The structure of Zahav meets the ever-changing needs of this energetic age group. Not only will campers participate in regular daily activities, but they will have the freedom to choose a weekly elective. Field trips on Wednesdays.ü Camper: Counselor ratio – 10:1

Sabra “Native Israeli” (Entering grades 6-8)Sessions 1, 2, 3. Sabra teens are always on the go, meeting new challenges and gaining independence! Campers will enjoy four field trips per week and one social action project per session. Beach days every Thursday.ü Camper: Counselor ratio – 10:1

LIT: Leader in Training (Entering grades 6-11)Sessions 1, 2, 3. Our program offers teens training in child development, problem solving, program planning, CPR and First Aid. Community Service hours will be awarded upon completion of each session. LITs work directly with the camp staff to learn the skills needed to become a senior counselor. Application and interview required.

Theatre CIT (Entering grades 9-10)Sessions 1 & 2 (6-week program). Be a counselor-in-training for Theatre Camp’s production of The Aristocats.


Mini Fun Days(grades TK-5)Something for everyone! Enjoy a fun-filled week participating in activities such as science, cooking, art, playing gaga, and enjoying the JCC pool including snorkeling and slip n’ slide. A.M.P. (Amazing Multiple Parks)(grades 3-10)Spend the week with camp friends at your favorite amusement parks! Bring $20 daily for lunch and snacks. Dance & Cheer(grades TK-3)Learn two fun skills in one week! The dance portion of camp works on basic dance skills, from Jazz to Hip-Hop and more. The dance & cheer moves will be combined as the campers learn routines to showcase to friends and family at the end of the week.

Ninja Warriors Camp (grades 1-6)Join us as we jump into the newest craze that is sweeping the nation. Campers will compete in all kinds of fun physical challenges - obstacle courses, progressive relays, and team-based competitions.

Sports Specialty Camp(grades TK-2)Campers will focus on a specific sport every day while still getting the chance to play camp-favorite games in the afternoon. Each morning will focus on the fundamentals, skills and rules needed to succeed and have fun in that day’s “Sport Specialty”.

Basketball Camp (grades 3-6)Basketball Camp consists of skill development drills, competitions, and games while having fun. Work with experienced coaches on passing, dribbling, shooting and rebounding while developing a high basketball IQ. Campers will also compete in league games and a basketball tournament at the end of the week. All participants will receive prizes and a basketball.

LIT: Leader in Training(grades 6-10)This program offers teens leadership skills and training in child development, group dynamics, team building, program planning and the overall insight on being a counselor. Participants will also earn 20 hours of community service.
