ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)
Southern University at Shreveport LA (SUSLA) is offering English as a Second Language
(ESL) for students who are seeking to improve their performance on international
examinations for proficiency in English, enroll in a postsecondary institution and
improve their speaking and understanding of English. SUSLA’s ESL Program is designed
improve the English proficiency of prospective students seeking enrollment or currently
enrolled students in a postsecondary who have Test of English as a Foreign Language
(TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) scores that at or below
the minimum requirements for admission to community colleges. Students who are
limited and or modest users can benefit from this course.

C4 CERTIFICATION FOR MANUFACTURING
AT SUSLA
Certification for Manufacturing (C4M) is a certification program developed by Louisiana Economic Development (LED) FastStart, focused on manufacturing skills relevant to Louisiana businesses and industry to meet their need for entry-level employees with general manufacturing knowledge, hands-on exposure to basic fabrication, process technology, and machining.

ICND1 is the first part in the two-part updated Cisco ICND
curriculum. This course will help you gain an understanding of
the operation of TCP/IP networks built with Cisco hardware.
