News from in & around our school and community

With thankful hearts for God’s faithfulness and blessings we completed our twenty-first schoolyear. Graduation, on May 31st was a great time of celebration and thankfulness as several ofthe eighth grade students shared testimonies of the incredible influence of parents and teachersin molding their lives and character. We thank God for each of these students and look forwardwith great anticipation to see how God will use them in the years to come.

During this past school year, more than 206 students have enjoyed daily training and nurturingfrom teachers who are helping them to understand and appreciate our world from theperspective of our Creator, the Lord God Almighty. These students are not just being taughthow to read and write but how to discern truth and how to act and live wisely.

July is moving month at Trinity Oaks as we say good-bye to our temporary home for the pasteight years and move into our new permanent home. We have seen God provide in an amazingway and look forward to settling down in our new home over the next month before schoolstarts on Monday, August 27. Please pray that we transition well into our new facility.

Honoring the Past -Building on the Future

It all began with a vision in 1990 – a visionanchored in prayer and with families in one

accord desiring a Christ-centered education fortheir children. From the basement of a church to a temporary school district building and now a permanent school home with a high schoolprogram -Trinity Oaks Christian Academy has indeed been blessed! It was no wonder that parents, students and faculty alike were in completeawe and excited as they toured the new campus seeing just what God had in store for them! Prayers continued to be answered as they learnedthat our school was granted candidacy status for accreditation with the Association of Christian Schools International - a seal of quality on aneducational organization striving for excellence.

Expanding on this excellence is Trinity Oaks High School, a high school program that will continue to shape and form wise and virtuous youngmen and women through vigorously academic college preparatory/AP courses, art and service learning to maximize their infinite potential andprepare them for a lifetime of service for Christ and His Kingdom. Trinity Oaks Christian Academy has partnered with many families for over21 years equipping their children academically, physically and spiritually – it is a great privilege to be offering the opportunity to continue thisChrist-centered education beyond the early elementary and junior high years.

An incredible journey lies ahead for the faculty/staff, families and students of Trinity Oaks as we continue to build a strong foundation in Christfor generations to come. “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to giveyou hope and a future.’” Jeremiah 29:11

The Race for Education is a remarkable eventhosted by H.O.P.E. as the main, all-schoolfundraiser at Trinity Oaks. It is truly ablessing to witness the excitement that fillsthe air as students anxiously wait to hear thosewords – “On your mark, get set – GO!”Family, friends and faculty cheer from thesidelines only to find themselves, at times, actually joining in the race while encouragingthe students to persevere and finish strong! And that they did – nearly $35,000 raised!“Well done, good and faithful servants!”(Matthew 25:21a)
