    Introduction

This assessment report summarizes the spring 2010 drill program on patents 8470SEC,

    6371SEC, 23575SEC.

A 12 hole, 4643.1 metre surface diamond drill program was completed on the Taylor property

between February and May, 2010. The goal of the program was to explore the recently acquired

Bourgois claim which lies between two established deposits on the Taylor property: the West

Porphyry Zone and the Shoot Zone. No previous exploration work had been conducted on the

    Bourgois claim.

    Location and Access

The Taylor property is located in Taylor Township, approximately 8km northwest of Matheson

and approximately 53km east of Timmins. Figure 1 shows the location of the Taylor property

within Ontario. The property can be accessed from Highway 11 by turning west onto Taylor

Road, or from Val Gagne Road by turning east. See Figure 2 for the property location within

    Taylor Township.

    Previous Work

Prior to St Andrew's acquisition, the Taylor property area had been explored by Hollinger and by

a joint venture between Labrador Mining and Exploration Company Ltd. (successor to

Hollinger) and later by Esso Minerals Canada (Esso Minerals). The property included two near

surface gold deposits, the Shoot Zone and the Shaft Zone and the deeper West Porphyry Zone.

    WEST PORPHYRY ZONE

The West Porphyry Zone, located about 450 m west of the Shaft Deposit and about 400 m below

surface, was discovered by Hollinger in 1962. From April 1962 to August 1966, Hollinger

drilled 14 holes totalling 4,606 m. From November 1972 to June 1980, Hollinger intermittently

drilled a total of 10 holes totalling 4,118 m. From February 1986 to July 1998, St Andrew drilled

185 holes from surface totalling 84,015 m. Up until July 1998, some 209 holes totalling 92,740

m had been drilled in the West Porphyry Deposit area and vicinity. The West Porphyry Deposit

hosts the Main West Porphyry Deposit and the Upper West Porphyry Deposit. In 1998, St

Andrew reinterpreted the West Porphyry Deposit mineralization and completed a polygonal

Mineral Resource estimate. The West Porphyry Deposit Indicated Mineral Resources were

reported as 1,222,000 tonnes averaging 8.7 g/t Au at a 3.4 g/t Au cut-off grade and with high

gold values cut to 34.3 g/t Au ( 1.0 oz/ton Au). The West Porphyry Deposit Inferred Mineral

    Resources totalled 410,000 tonnes averaging 8.5 g/t Au at a 3.4 g/t Au cut-off grade and with

high gold values cut to 34.3 g/t Au (1.0 oz/ton Au). These mineral resources were not NI 43-101

compliant and have been superseded by the current report.

In early 1999, another six drill holes totalling 4,831 m were completed on the Upper West

Porphyry Deposit zones and some changes were made to the West Porphyry Deposit resource

    estimate.

In 1999, Scott Wilson RPA estimated mineral resources for the Taylor property. The mineral

resources were re-estimated by Scott Wilson RPA in 2003 using slightly different parameters.

This mineral resource estimate remains current and is discussed below. In 2004, St Andrew

commenced planning for the Advanced Exploration Project to test the West Porphyry deposit. In

2005, 13 surface diamond drill holes were completed in the planned portal area for

condemnation purposes and rock strength testing. These holes tested the thickness of the

overburden and typically cored about 3 m of rock. Detailed plans and budgets were completed.

At the time of the Scott Wilson RPA visit in September, 2006, the overburden in the portal area

had been excavated and a few metres of development in fresh rock had been completed.

    SHOOT ZONE

The Shoot Zone was discovered by Hollinger in 1972. From the time of the discovery until 1981,

Hollinger drilled 50 holes totalling 8,263 m. From 1986 to April 1997, St Andrew drilled 49

  • 3.

holes totalling 9,960 m. The early 1997 St Andrew drill holes were shallow and closely spaced to

investigate the Shoot Zone open pit potential. Some 99 diamond drill holes totalling 18,223 m

were drilled in the Shoot Zone area from 1972 to 1997.

In 1998, St Andrew estimated that the Shoot Zone contained Indicated Mineral Resources

totalled 670,000 tonnes averaging 5.5 Au at a 3.4 g/t Au cut-off grade. The Shoot Zone Inferred

    Mineral Resources totalled 106,000 tonnes averaging 5.2 g/t Au at a 3.4 g/t Au cut-off grade.

Cutting of high gold values to 34.3 g/t Au ( 1.0 oz/ton Au) had no impact on the resource

estimate. This estimate has been audited by Scott Wilson RPA and is the current resource

    estimate discussed below.

    GEOLOGICAL SETTING

    REGIONAL GEOLOGY

The Taylor Project is centrally located in the Abitibi greenstone belt in the Superior Province of

the Canadian Shield. The Abitibi Belt is the largest Archean belt of its kind in the world, and one

of the most prolific in terms of mining production. It is a 750 km long by 250 km wide belt of

deformed and metamorphosed volcanic and sedimentary rocks and granitoid batholiths ranging

in age from approximately 2,745 to 2,680 Ma.

The oldest assemblages (2,745 to 2,700 Ma) are predominantly felsic to mafic metavolcanic

rocks with local minor oxide, silicate and sulphide chemical sedimentary rocks and clastic

sedimentary rocks, intruded by ultramafic to granodioritic bodies. Widespread felsic plutonism

comprising granodiorites, granites, quartz feldspar porphyries, and syenite bodies took place

between 2,700 and 2,680 Ma. The younger sedimentary rocks are in the Porcupine assemblages

dated at 2,698 Ma and the Timiskaming assemblage at 2,685 Ma. The metamorphic grades

within the supracrustal rocks are generally sub-greenschist to greenschist facies and to

    amphibolite facies near intrusive bodies.

  • 4.

A number of major, steeply dipping, east-west striking, brittle to ductile deformation zones

transgress these supracrustal rocks with the Porcupine-Destor Fault Zone (PDFZ) being the most

significant in the Taylor area. Gold deposits are commonly localized within and close to the

PDFZ along its 200 km length from west of Timmins through the Matheson area and eastward

beyond the Destor area of Quebec. The fault zone was recognized in the early 1900s with the

discovery of the gold deposits of the Timmins area. The PDFZ was active relatively late in the

history of the belt and many of the gold deposits are closely associated with it and Timiskaming

sediments found along its strike length. The Pipestone Fault and the Nighthawk Break are two

splays off the PDFZ that host the Clavos Deposit and the Aquarius Mine, respectively.

    LOCAL AND PROPERTY GEOLOGY

Four gold deposits have been defined to date along the PDFZ on the Taylor property. These are

the Shaft Deposit, Main West Porphyry Deposit, Upper West Porphyry Deposit and the Shoot

Zone. The PDFZ strikes approximately 075° in the Shoot Zone area and curves to an almost

eastwest trend in the Shaft Deposit area. The PDFZ dips at approximately 45° to the south and

overlies the Porcupine Group of metasedimentary rocks. The fault zone is typically sheared,

carbonatized, peridotitic komatiites altered to talc-chlorite schist. Ultramafic volcanic rocks

altered to sericitized fuchsitic green carbonate with inclusions of sericitized magnesium tholeiite

volcanic rocks and altered metasedimentary rocks typically overlie the PDFZ in Taylor

Township. This package, consisting of mainly green carbonate rocks, hosts significant amounts

of felsic intrusive rocks locally. In some areas felsic, intrusive rocks are gold bearing or appear to

channel gold mineralization along their contacts. In general, the presence and abundance of these

felsic intrusive rocks are important indicators for gold mineralization. The green carbonate rock

sequence is overlain by massive, variolitic and pillowed iron and magnesium tholeiitic volcanic

rocks, and intruded by fresh to altered felsic intrusive rocks. Early Precambrian Matachewan

diabase dikes trending north-south, Late Precambrian diabase dikes trending east-northeast and

lamprophyre dikes are more recent intrusive rocks. The PDFZ offsets some Matachewan diabase

dikes locally indicating a more recent movement. Generally, the rocks in Taylor Township have

been metamorphosed to lower greenschist facies.

    Diamond Drilling

Drilling on the Taylor property was conducted by Levert Drilling Ltd. and commenced on

February 181h, 2010. A total of 4643.1m of core was drilled. Of this, 623.3m was overburden

and 4070.5m was in bedrock. See Appendix 1 for Drilling Spreadsheet. Drill core was picked

up by SAS employees at the drill site and brought to the exploration office in Matheson, Ontario.

The core was logged by Heather Miree, the Senior Project Manager for the Taylor project. Logs

for the 12 diamond drill holes completed in the program have been included in Appendix 2.

Sampled core was cut by Heather Davidson using a Vancon diamond saw. The split core was

moved to temporary storage at the Matheson exploration office. The drill program was planned

    and supervised by Heather Miree.

Analyses of a total of 2709 samples were conducted by Swastika Laboratories (Swastika,

Ontario) and by SGS Laboratories Inc. (Toronto, Ontario). Swastika Laboratories completed

analysis of 565 samples. The remaining 2144 samples were analyzed by SGS. 94 sample

standards and 88 blanks were included in these samples. Assay certificates have been filed in

    Appendix 3.

    DRILLING SUMMARY

The spring 2010 drill program explored the recently acquired Bourgois claim, located between

the already known West Porphyry and Shoot Zone deposits. The goal of the program was to

extend the two deposits towards each other along strike in previously unexplored ground.

A total of 12 holes were drilled, totalling 4643.1 metres. Drilling was conducted by Levert

Drilling Ltd. (Sudbury, Ontario). See Figure 3 for Drill Hole Locations. See Appendix 5 for

    Drill Hole Sections.

felsic porphyry and minor mafic volcanics; increase in ultramafic intervals below 274m. Gold

    was present in a Quartz-breccia between 208.3-212.42m and in a silica-albite-altered greywacke

    between 218.4-219.9m.

Hole TAl0-007 was collared at UTM (NAD83) 527,383 mE, 5,378,939 mN. It was drilled at an

azimuth of 315°, dipping -65°N to a depth of 57 3m. Top of hole was characterized by

  • 7.

alternating mafic volcanics and felsic to intermediate intrusives. Intermittent gold-bearing

samples were intersected between 482-512m, with a longer intersection between 504.6-508.5m.

Hole TAl0-008 was collared at UTM (NAD83) 527,268 mE, 5,379,015 mN. It was drilled at an

azimuth of 315°, dipping -62°N to a depth of 495m. Primary lithologies included mafic

intermediate volcanics, felsic-intermediate intrusives and minor sedimentary horizons. No major

    gold intersections.

Hole TAl0-009 was collared at UTM (NAD83) 527,357 mE, 5,379,095 mN. It was drilled at an

azimuth of 303°, dipping -62.2°N to a depth of 495m. Primary lithologies were mafic to

intermediate volcanics and felsic to intermediate porphyry. Dominant alteration was fuchsite-

sericite-carbonate altered ultramafics. Gold mineralization occurred in an intermediate intrusive

    from 154.06 to 160.5m.

Hole TAl0-010 was collared at UTM (NAD83) 527,318 mE, 5,378,875 mN. It was drilled at an

azimuth of 315°, dipping -64 °N to a depth of 597m. Lithology was characterized by alternating

mafic-intermediate volcanics and felsic to intermediate intrusives. No major gold intersections.

Hole TAl0-011 was collared at UTM (NAD83) 526,410 mE, 5,378,898 mN. It was drilled at an

azimuth of 341°, dipping -8SON to a depth of 267m. Primary lithologies included mafic to

intermediate volcanics (often carbonate-altered) and felsic-intermediate intrusives. Minor gold

mineralization between 183-187 .5m in carbonate altered volcanics and feldspar porphyry.

Hole TAl0-012 was collared at UTM (NAD83) 526,700 mE, 5,378,725 mN. It was drilled at an

azimuth of 10°, dipping -83°N to a depth of 526m. Primary lithologies included mafic to

intermediate volcanics and felsic-intermediate intrusives. Low grade mineralization between

    511.5-519.6m.

    Conclusion

The spring 2011 drill program showed promising results in several drill holes in the recently

acquired Bourgois Claim. The highest grade intersections are summarized here:

  • TAII-006:

    • 218.4-219.9m: 4.17gpt/1.5m

    • 213.9-219.9m: 1.41gpt I 6m

    TAII-007:

    • 492.55-494.8m: 3.15gpt I 2.25m

    • 504.6-508.5m: 3.6lgpt I 3.9m

    TAII-009:

    • 154.06-160.5m: 4.23gpt I 6.44m

    TAII-012:

    • 515.67-519.6m: 1.84gptl3.93m

    8.

Future exploration in the area should follow up on these intersections. It should also test to see if

the known resources in the shoot and west-porphyry zones extend into the Bourgois Claim.
