MDT code for satisfying requests of commissioning at Pit:

1. manage a variable nr. and type of chambers instead of a pre-fixed one

2. choose how to retrieve MDTs parameters and mapping ---> new “MapInterface” routine can access DB (to be implemented) DB (to be implemented) and/orand/or a text a text file (DONE!)file (DONE!)

3. once read, information is used in the same way independentlyindependently of source ---> map format modifications only require changes in “MapInterface”
