Sullivan also has the Blue Dolphin swim team for ages kindergarten-high school.

Monument at Historic Lincoln Site On September 21, 1968, a bigger than life size Lincoln Memorial was unveiled at Wyman Park. The monument memorializes Lincoln’s final visit to Sullivan when a near riot broke out on the square during Lincoln’s senatorial campaign against Stephen Douglas.

Moultrie County Courthouse The county’s courthouse was dedicated in 1906. A monument to Lincoln was erected 15 years later on the lawn and still stands across from the Little Theatre. Inside, a mural featuring a young Abraham Lincoln on the wall of the clerk’s office is featured while the words of the Gettysburg Address circle the office.

Moultrie County Heritage Center Located at 117 East Harrison Street in Sullivan, the museum features artifacts relating to Moultrie County and its people. Access to the museum is free to everyone. Open Saturdays and Mondays from 1-5 and by scheduled appointment.
