This conference is intended to offer information and hope to helping professionals, individuals, families, friends and leaders who want to make a difference in the life of someone they care about. Individuals who experience trauma and the potential consequences may find it hard to manage their mood and other symptoms. There are times when this may bring them to a suicide crisis and they believe that suicide is an answer to a problem. They have lost the ability or the energy to struggle through one more day. A suicide crisis can be sudden, or it can be a long journey through days, weeks or years. It can also be an opportunity to offer help to someone who is depressed and unable to go on because they have lost hope. We want to offer other solutions and equip individuals who come into contact with people who are experiencing trauma and/or a suicide crisis solutions that use our community resources, spiritual healing and counseling services. We also want to reach out to those who are grieving and give hope. We want them to know that they do not have to walk the path of grief alone. Together we can make a difference.
