SUGGESTED ITEMS FOR RESIDENT STUDENTS When you arrive at Stevens, you should plan to bring the following items with you: Personal Care Products & Necessities: Soap, Shampoo, and Deodorant Toothbrush & Toothpaste Comb/Brush Razor and Shaving Cream Shower caddie to carry bathroom items Towels/Wash Cloths Hair Dryer Bathrobe or Terry Cloth “wrap around” Sheets – two (2) sets, 80" long Pillow and Pillow Cases Mattress pad Blankets – two (2) Laundry bag or basket for dirty clothes (A plastic trash can with a lid, can be used for this) Laundry detergent (HE - High Efficiency) and quarters for laundry Alarm Clock Fan (although the rooms are air conditioned) Shower shoes or flip flops Clothing and shoes Optional Items: Stereo System Computer or laptop and Ethernet Cord Cell Phone Refrigerator (no larger than 5.0 cubic feet) Rugs * (Not needed at Branch Campus as rooms are carpeted) Television and DVD player Curtains and tension rod (a window shade is provided) Hangers if needed Individual microwaves, heating devices and cooking devices are not permitted within the Residence Halls. Special Notes: Microwaves are provided by the college and are located in common areas for student use. Phones are located in rooms or provided upon request if living in the Branch.
