Here it comes: I found out later that my rejected debit card, i.e. the first one I tried to use, had actually been debited three times, but had only two corresponding credits. So I was down about 16K (if my memory serves me well) for nothing! Trying to contact Lazada was an excercise in futility, so eventually I contacted the regional director Asia of Lazadas parent company directly by email, alerting him to what I consider to be a critical error in their payment system, and he responded immediately and promised prompt action by Lazada. The crew then answered its SG sir meaning, made in Singapore. I got a refund. See? These bastards intentionally say 100% genuine in their website while they are fully aware those are not. If all Lazada customers are only skilled in knowing the difference between fake and original, I believe there will be more and more complaints.This is what I think is the real score;1. They know they sell fake products. And this can be massively done on products that can be and most popularly imitated perfumes, pants, watches, shades, beauty products, (even the Coocan ceramic pot has imitations!).2. They know some customers know how to spot a fake, so they have prepared some genuine items in case some complains and will even go the extra mile of meeting the complainant personally and giving vouchers discreetly. This is if the situation gets out of hand like it breaks out in the social media.Complaints regarding fake products from Lazada is not just an isolated case. I thought you had to have actually PURCHASED the item to leave a review?

I know I get badgered to leave a review--and you have to have a minimum number of words/letters TO leave one--and then you leave yourself open forever to getting QUESTIONS from people who are LOOKING at the item YOU bought--I get questions allll the time on car parts--In some cases I do answer (If I know the answer!) as it is then a "Real person" who has actually USED the part vs a seller who might tell you the part is wonderful for your car when it really is not.

But---How is AMAZON allowing NON-PURCHASERS to EVER leave reviews? THAT seems to be a glitch in their oh so perfect system---

That's not a problem because, as you'll see when perusing reviews on Amazon, there are a good percentage which are not identified with "Verified Purchase" in orange text.

I have often been one of those non-verified myself after having bought the same item from another retailer like Home Depot, etc. The only visible difference is that the words "Verified Purchase" are absent if the review is written by a non-Amazon buyer.
