ki Han, CfP, PhD, is chairperson of the finance department and the director of the graduate Programs in finance. his teaching and research interests include corporate finance, international finance, investments, options, and ownership structure. he has been published in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Financial Research, Financial Review, and Quarterly Journal of Business and Economics, among many others. recently, his co-authored arti-cle was included in the book titled, The Impact of the Global Financial Crisis on Emerging Financial Markets.
Chris Argyrople, CfA, is a seasoned entrepreneurial investor with 20 years of experience launching and managing successful investment firms, including acadian asset Management, Par capital Management, delta Partners, concentric investments, and triad alpha Partners. he has also served as a consultant to State Street Bank to design SSga’s initial inter-national investment Strategies.
Shahriar khaksari, PhD, is an expert in global business and international finance. he previously served as the dean of Suffolk’s international Programs and developed several programs, including the global Seminars, global MBa, Mas-ter of Science in finance, and Master of Science in financial Services and Bank-ing. author of several books and research articles, khaksari is the former co-editor of the International Journal of Finance. he also founded the american institute of advanced finance, is the ceo of the global learning company, and serves on harvard university’s Scientific advisory Board for the School of Public health.
karen Simonyan, PhD, specializes in empirical corporate finance. his areas of expertise include securities issues (such as iPos, Seos, and convertible debt offer-ings), management quality, corporate governance and anti-takeover provisions,

lin Guo, PhD, specializes in financial institutions, corporate finance, and international finance. guo has published her work in leading journals, such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Intermediation, and Journal of Empirical Finance. She has also presented her research at numerous international conferences and is a frequent journal referee and conference reviewer. guo was a research fellow at the fdic center for financial research and was a visiting senior finan-cial economist at the Shanghai Stock exchange.

Requirements• Bachelor’s degree from an accred-
ited college or university
• Application plus a $50 nonrefund-able application fee
• Statement of professional goals indicating how a degree from the graduate Programs in finance will help you achieve your goals
• Current resume
• 2 letters of recommendation from past or present academic or profes-sional colleagues
• Official transcripts from all under-graduate and graduate schools attended
• An official GMAT or GRE score
• GMAT/GRE Waivers:
- candidates who hold a cfa designation
- candidates who graduated from aBa-accredited law schools and passed the bar
- others will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• International students must also submit toefl or ieltS scores and a statement of financial resources.
