Inside this player pack you will find all the information you need to take part in this great event. • Players will construct a 250 Point Value force roster containing up to twelve BattleMech units. These can be found at the Master Unit List website: http://www.masterunitlist.info/.

• All units may have modified Skill levels if paid for using the Point Value Skill Rating Table found on page 24 of the Alpha Strike rulebook.

• For ground forces a ‘Lance’ is four units; A ‘Company’ is three lances to a total of twelve units.

• Units and technology can be up to and including the year 3039.

• Games will be played using the Standard Alpha Strike Rules starting on page 22 of the Alpha Strike rulebook.

• Miniature substitution is not allowed unless cleared by the campaign organiser. Painted miniatures are preferred, but not required. Miniatures need to be clearly identified and be on a hex base appropriate to its size and the rules.

• Force unit cards/rosters can be viewed by all players at anytime during a game. • Alternate Munitions starting on page 76 of the Alpha Strike rulebook will notnotnotnot be allowed. • The Forced Withdrawal optional rule is being used for this tournament. • The Expanded Movement rules are in effect. The Expanded Movement Modifiers Table from the Alpha

Strike Companion Rulebook is provided in this players pack for reference. • Unless stated otherwise all games are to be played on a 6’ x 4’ table with home edges being along the 6’

long sides. • Terrain will be set up before hand by the tournament organiser. • The tournament organiser has the final say on all decisions and rules clarifications.

In this round players will face off in a bid to do as much damage to their opponent while attempting to preserve their own assets.

Game SetupGame SetupGame SetupGame Setup Players roll initiative with the winner choosing their long home edge first. The second player is

awarded the opposite edge. The deployment zone is up to 10” forward from the player’s home edge. Players take turns deploying one unit at a time with the winner deploying a single unit first.

ObjectivesObjectivesObjectivesObjectives There are no objectives other than do more damage than your opponent. At the end of the round use

the Victory Points Table (from the Alpha Strike rule book; page 26 and re-printed in this player pack) to work out each players score. Fill out the provided score card with a signature from both players and hand it to the tournament organiser. Once handed in the score stands if the next round begins so make sure it is correct.

In this round players are to take and hold the very centre of the battlefield.

Game SetupGame SetupGame SetupGame Setup Players roll initiative with the winner choosing their long home edge first. The second player is

awarded the opposite edge. The deployment zone is up to 10” forward from the player’s home edge. Players take turns deploying one unit at a time with the winner deploying a single unit first. A flat 3” blast marker is then placed in the centre of the battlefield to represent the position that is the objective.

ObjectivesObjectivesObjectivesObjectives At the end of the round use the Victory Points Table to work out each players score. In addition, any

player who has a unit whose base is touching the blast marker will add that unit’s point value to their score at the end of this round. Fill out the provided score card with a signature from both players and hand it to the tournament organiser. Once handed in the score stands if the next round begins so make sure it is correct.

In this round players are to defend their commanding officer while attempting to remove their opponents from the battle.

awarded the opposite edge. The deployment zone is up to 10” forward from the player’s home edge. Players take turns deploying one unit at a time with the winner deploying a single unit first. Both players choose a single unit from their force roster to represent the commanding officer in this scenario.

ObjectivesObjectivesObjectivesObjectives At the end of the round use the Victory Points Table to work out each players score. In addition if the

enemy commanding officer is destroyed, or has left the table for any reason, the Victory Points awarded for this unit is doubled. Fill out the provided score card with a signature from both players and hand it to the tournament organiser. Once handed in the score stands if the next round begins so make sure it is correct.
