Shoulder sensors Each pack has two shoulder sensors which can be shot by the other players. In fact each unit contains two receptors so a player may be hit from front or behind. In addition to this the modules contain four multi-color LED’s which change color and flash in time with the main front and back body sensors.

Leather vest Designed to fit ages six years and up, these vests have the look and feel of a rugged futuristic space warrior. The unique properties of leather make these vests highly durable and resistant to unpleasant sweat odors associated with synthetic-based vests. Leather is a durable, wear-resistant material that actually looks better as it ages.

Polycarbonate body sensorsThere are two body sensors on each vest, one at the front and one at the back. The pack electronics are contained within thick-walled,highlydurableinjectionmouldedshells.Thesepolycarbonate plastic shells are tough enough to be driven over by a car! With tinted plastic and body armor detailing, these body sensors look as tough as they actually are.

Gun connection cablePhasers are connected to the vest via a robust reinforced rubber hose. The internal wires are held loose within this shield to provide an incredibly durable wiring system designed for low maintenance operation.

Selectable team colorsDuring game play, disks display a player’s team color by illuminating the body and shoulder sensors.Available team colors are red, green, blue, magenta, gold and silver. The super-bright LED’s can revolve and flash in many different patterns depending on what mode the vest is in (alive, hit, tagged, standby, charge etc).

“This leather vest interacts during game play, illuminating with dazzling colors which flash, dissolve and rotate - wow factor like no other”

Imagine... you are at the beginning of a game and your customers are all wearing their phaser packs.

Because the remote utilizes awide-angle infra-red beam, you as the operator can configure many vests simultaneously.

So... You push the red button and simply by sweeping the remote in front of the 1st group... you have now created a red team. You do the same for the blue team and players are ready to go through - very fast, very efficient.

...You ask your players to enter the arena and announce that their game will start in 10 seconds and counting... You simply push the Start button on the remote. That’s it!! - the system does the rest for you.

As a game plays out, the operator will want to know the remaining time left for that game - this is displayed on the LCD screen.

At the end of the game the operator can read the score directly from the remote - without having to go back to the main computer.

Remote Control

APerfectRemoteThe Delta Strike remote incorporates both Infrared andRFtechnologiestoprovide most efficient and effective laser tag remote control on the market - look at these features:

Using both Infrared and RF the Delta Strike remote can:

Resetguns•Change vest colors (6 available)•Add a player to an existing game•Activate single handed mode•Activate Friendly fire mode•Start and stop games•Change the type of game•Display the score for the current game•Display the time left for the current game•

“A perfect Laser TagRemoteprocesses

A well designed remote can dramatically increase a Laser Tag cen-tres through-put and therefore its profits. In fact a perfect laser tag remote processes 95% of the Game operations.

TheRemoteControlshouldallowtheoperatortoactivategames, changeteamcolors and many other features - without having to go to a computer. Why? Because it is so much more efficient....

The worst situation is to have your operators going back and forth to the game computer each time they have to set up a game or change a feature of the game

Arena Components can transform your arena into an entirely different world - a world which interacts with the players to produce an ever-changing environment where no two games are the same.

All of Delta Strike Interactive products use the latest LED lighting technology, resulting in stunning colors and a life span of up to 100,000 hours. That is over twenty years without the labor or cost of replacing a bulb! All components are able to emit red, green, blue and white light, to produce both ambient and strobe lighting effects.

ABS (Autonomous Base Station)

The ABS can be mounted onto any wall within the arena to provide a pre-programmed game function. We call this an “Autonomous” Base Station since its functionality remains the same, regardless of which game is playing. Each unit has multicolored lights and a sound beeper. Players can shoot at this device – and it can shoot them… Inside the ABS there are some small switches. These can be set to provide different functions such as:

Sentry: Every 60 seconds the beeper sounds, the internal lights flash bright purple and any player in the vicinity will be tagged. Players can de-activate the sentry by shooting at it .

Trip wire: A player may activate the ‘trip wire’ by tagging a sentry. Five seconds later the unit will emit a series of devastating tag beams, tagging all opposing players in the area.

Spotlights

DeltaStrike’sspotlightsareusedtoprojectcoloredlight.Thesecanbemountedonawall or props within the arena. Like the crystals, spotlights provide an excellent way to createdynamiclightingwiththatmysteriousambiance.Eachunitwillprojectmulticoloredlight which will flash, dissolve, dim and strobe - depending what is happening during game play

Crystal Lighting

Lighting is an essential part of an arena’s theming. The trick is to not have lighting that is too dull… or too bright. A mysterious ambiance with some colorful sparkle is required. Delta Strike’s crystal lighting provides the perfect solution - they illuminate with vivid colors which flash, dissolve, dim & strobe.

As well as providing a stunning ambiance these light crystals provide gaming information to players - for instance if they are flashing red a player will know that the control station is dispensing rapid fire functionality.

Control StationDelta Strike’s Control Stations are absolutely packed full of interactive gaming features .

Each Control Station has five light bars which can flash, dissolve, dim and strobe through any color. Players can shoot a control station and the control station can shoot back. They also produce fantastic sound effects such as power-up sounds, bombing sounds and even computer like voice messages. As with all of Delta Strike’s Ultra-Interactive products the Control Stations can do many different things - depending on the game play - here are some examples…

RapidFire: When the lights flash red, players shoottoreceiveRapidFireupgrade

Hyper-shield: When the lights flash green, play-ers shoot to receive ‘Hyper Shield’ power.

Base Control: Team players can “capture” a con-trol station by tagging it repeatedly.

Laser Shooter (Requires haze in arena) A Laser Shooter is a small device that can be mounted onto walls or props in the arena. Laser Shooters are perfect for providing interactivety for props… When the laser pulses on and off, players know the alien prop is trying to tag them. With certain games, players can also fire back at the prop to de-activate the Laser Shooter.

Arena Component Controller

Energy Cone (Requires haze in arena)An Energy cone can provide most of the functionality of an Energy Gate such as the Ammo Drop or re-spawn points.

AnimitronicsRobots, puppets, motorsand air canons can be switched on and off by the ACC to create timed theming. Excellent for Theme Parks

Energy Gate (Requires haze in arena)Delta Strike’s energy-gates use high intensity light beams to illuminate doors within the arena. These gates can be illuminated to any color and depending on the game, an Energy Gate can do many different things, here are some examples… Gateway: The Gateway is perfect for imple-menting an dynamically changing doorway. For instance if the spotlights are green, then only green team members may pass through this gateway, other team colors will be tagged.

Re-spawnGate:Some games require that taggedplayersreturntoa‘Re-spawnGate’,in order to be revived back to life.

Bomb Zone: When a red player shoots the sensor, the gateway will light up red and any green players entering will be tagged.

MotorisedTurret(Haze recommended)The Turret Sentry is a motorised light beam with a speaker attached. When activated these products can swivel from side to side as well as up and down. Any player caught in the pulsing light and audio beams can be tagged.

Players can de-activate a Turret Sentry by shooting them.

The Game Control Software is the core of your laser tag system and does almost everything for you...

Automation in laser tag equates directly to profits - the faster you can process games, the more money you will make in an hour. Additionally less staff are required to op-erate a fully automated laser tag business - it’s a win-win!

Automation Personified.. Here’s a typical scenario... Your players are ready to go... the operator pushes the start button on the remote and then the Game Control software takes over...

Score Printing: The game control software manages the printing of each groups game scores. The print-out displays statistics for both the players and the teams. In addition a worm graph pro-vides a visual display of the scores throughout the game. These score sheets are printed automatically when a game is finished, ready for the play-ers when they come out of the arena.

MembershipDelta Strike’s rich membership features are managed from this screen. From here operators are able to activate and disable membership accounts, change members’ details, issue new membership tags, etc.

Score ScreenOur animated score screen is able to display real time game scores - refer page 14.

Upgrading Phaser S/WNew software can be uploaded to phasers without the need to even open the phaser case. When a new software version becomes available, operators can choose to simply download this from our web site, and upload it to each gun through the radio system.

Continuous Play: Continuous play allows you to put a new group into the arena, while a game is already in prog-ress. This means that the group doesn’t have to wait in line to have a game, providing faster through-put, happier customers and a better turnover for you.

Player DatabaseDatabases are considered to be the ultimate marketing tool since they provide an incredibly cost effective way to market to current clients. Delta Strike have integrated a player database into the Game Control Software. This database also synchronises with our online CRMdatabasefortheultimatemarketing tool - please refer to the CRMSoftwaresectiononpage19.

ClubsClubs are an exciting addition to the player database and provide operators with a way to send very targeted mail-outs and e-mails to customers. Here are some example of clubs that can be created:

Birthday Club•Friday Game Night•Laser Sport League•MembersClub..etc.•

As an owner, you can create any number of clubs. Once a customer’s contact details have been gathered, they can be linked through to as many clubs the customer is interestedinjoining.

GameMusicArena music can be started and stopped automatically using the story board game play. Delta Strike has its own royalty free music which is saved on the game control computerasanMP3format.

Operators can change the game music at any time by selecting a new music file or play-list on the game control PC.

MultipleTeams:The Game Control Software can create games consisting of three or more teams. Each team is provided with a different color and each team is scored separately.

UNPARALLELED FUNCTIONALITY

Storyboard GAMEPLAY

The Game Control software has the unique ability to turn devices within the arena on and off at specific times during the game - we call this our “Story-board” gameplay.

Automated Events Delta Strike provides many types of laser tag games and each game is provided with it’s own unique story -board of events. This ensures every game provides customers with an entirely unique experience.

Player Triggered EventsThroughout the game, Triggered Events can also occur - these can happen at any time. For instance: a player pushes a button in the arenageneratingasirensoundoverthespeakersystem, allowingallplayerstocollectRapidFirefromthecontrolstations.

Extra Weapons & toolsAnother common element within most computer games is that as points are earned, players can purchase extra weapons and power packs to use in their game. Laser Tag has never had this feature … Until now!

Buttons Computer games use keyboards and game consoles use game controllers – either way players have excellent control over their game due to these additional buttons. Delta Strike Phaser Guns have four action buttons plus a trigger providing brilliant game play functionality.

Earn Game Points As with computer games, members accumulate points every time they play. This is such a basic yet profit-

able requirement - it keeps your regular players competing against

their friends (and coming back!)

ShieldIn the vast majority of laser taggames, when a player has been

tagged once, that’s it! Their gun immediately de-activates for 10 seconds, then re-activates and on they go. With computer games it takes 3 or 4 hits before they are “tagged”

Delta Strike laser tag equipment emulates this operation wonderfully. Player’s have a shield

which reduces every time a player is hit. If they are hit

enough times, their weapon de-activates. Delta Strike

is the 1st manufacturer in the world to provide this functionality. (The shield can be deactivate by the operator if desired)

The computer game industry is absolutely thriving - the budgets behind the development of many computer games are regularly exceeding budgets for box office movies! We asked ourselves… “What is that makes these games so exciting and compelling?” and how can we incorporate these elements into laser tag, here are the results...

Game Control Software

1) Auto Color Select: Delta Strike equipment will automatically select the vest colors at the push of a single button - greatly decreasing the time to sort groups into teams. (The traditional selection of players can still be provided if desired)

2) RadioGameStart: This allows vests to be started after the players have enteredthearena…andallatthesametime.Manytimesfasterthaninfra-red emitter base activators which start vests one at a time.

3) RadioGameStop: When the game has finished, all guns will automatically de-activate in the arena - preventing players from carrying on playing.

4) Fast Score Download: Delta Strike’s system uploads thescoreswirelessly(RF)sothatbythetimetheplayershave taken off their vests, the score sheets are already being printed.

5) Events to “Program the Customers” Delta Strike’s event base software can automatically broadcast announce-mentsoverthesoundsystem.Messagessuchas“oneminuteto go” and a “10, 9, 8...” audio count-down to the end of the game work exceedingly well at migrating players toward the vesting room before the game is even finished.. further speed-ing game turn-around times.

6) Vests are very easy to change: Delta Strike has worked with clothing designers to create a leather vest which players intuitively know how to put on and take off. Very fast and very effective!

7) Equipment which is extremely easy to use: Delta Strike have cre-ated default games which are very simple and easy to learn. We recommend these for the busiest days. (Note: Delta Strike produce many games with ex-cellent game depth to keep your regular customers and members from getting bored.)

8) Automated Equipment: Delta Strike system is the world’s most auto-mated system available. The operator simply pushes the start button on the remote and the system does the rest, freeing up time for the staff to get the next group prepared for their game.

A laser tag centre makes the majority of its profits during its busiest times. This is also when the game turn-around time is most critical.

If you loose a minute for every turn-around session, then you will loose approximately two games every three hours. For a 24 pack system at $5.00 per game that’s up to $80 an hour!

MEMBERSHIP Software

Membership is the perfect way to keep your customers coming back time after time. Delta Strike is proud to be the first manufacturer to offer a fully interactive, expandable membership service that players will find impossible to resist.

The most exciting aspect of this screen is the ‘character setup’ feature. Players are able to configure their own unique character by adding and removing different upgrades and weapons that they have previously earned. These upgrades are transmitted to the player’s phaser when they next play, ready for them to use! Thistypeofcharacterbuildinggameishugelyenjoyable, asplayerscan improve their character by playing more laser tag, and earning ‘game dollars’.

TheProfitabilityofMembershipWiththevastmajorityoflasertagbusiness’s,weekdays are always quieter than the weekends.

This is where the membership feature excels. It provides a brilliant draw-card to your more dedi-catedplayersduringthesequiettimes.Member-ship not only gets them to come back, it gets them to come back time after time.

Here’s why: Whenever members play, they earn points and these points keep accumulating. Since children love to collect things, earning more & more membership points whenever they play really appeals -and greatly encouraging repeat business.

Another benefit is that membership provides a constantly evolving game-play ensuring your dedi-cated players never get bored.

Character ScreenThe character screen is the main hub of our membership system. It offers detailed information to members about their past game history, allowing them to visually track their own laser tag skills as they improve.

PlayerRegistrationScreenOur membership system also includes a players sign-up page, for new players to register their details. This self service process removes the need for operators to manually add member details, reducing staffing requirements.

Members are able to create and develop theirown personal ‘character’ by earning points during game play, and then using these points to equip themselves with exciting upgrades and weapons.

“The membership is taking off and we have had many players sign up even though we have not be-gun to promote it, yet. Actually, the membership is not only encouraging players to keep coming back, we’re finding players also asking their friends to sign up. At some stage soon we will be starting a league night to get players in during weekdays.”

A database is a program which can be used to store information on all your customers and potential customers. Many people use Excel or Outlook as databases. Unfortunately these programs are very poor at managing on-going marketing and sales. Stand Alone Centres attract dedicated players who love to come back time after time -UNTILTHEYGETBORED.Tokeepthededicatedcustomerscomingback,aStandAlone Centre needs to keep the game-play fresh and ever-changing. Delta Strike have worked very hard at this by providing:

Manydifferentandhighlyentertaininggames•An advanced membership system to keep customers coming back•Equipment which operates like computer games•An Arena which fights back and makes every game unique•

With 20 minutes or less entertainment time, people are not prepared to travel as far to come to a Stand Alone Centre (compared to say a Family Entertainment Centre) The result is a reduced catchment area. This is a genuine profitability problem and one that plagues many Stand Alone Centres.

SOLUTION: There is a fantastic solution... We recommend centres decrease the game time - and sell games in packages of two or three. This concept requires very fast game turn around times - something which Delta Strike equipment excels at. (Please review our automation process under the game control software)

Stand Alone Laser Centre - this is a Centre which relies on Laser Tag for it’s main source of income. (no bowling lanes, mini-golf etc.) Stand Alone Centres have a some distinctive challenges which can affect a centre’s on-going profitability...

THEME PARKS

Theme Parks Laser Tag require a BLOCK BUSTER level of entertainment. Gameplay needs to be pushed to extreme levels so that players experience a game of laser tag like no other.

There are FOUR main factors theme-parks require from a laser tag system:

Interactive ArenasTheme parks require arenas that are “out of this world” - a place where customers can lose themselves. These arenas fight back - they have light, sounds, music and props which players can shoot that will shoot back at players. These game-play elements can be synchronised to create an unprecedented gaming experience that players will want to immediately try again. To construct such an environment Delta Strike have created a whole range of ultra-interactive arena components

Very Fast ThroughputTraditionally laser tags can entertain up to a maximum of 150 people per hour . Theme Parks require a minimum of 240 people per hour. Providing this break-neck level throughput requires incredibly automated laser tag systems.Delta Strike created a software and hardware system that automates almost every aspect of the laser tag operation. The result is what is believed to be the world’s fastest laser tag turn-around available.

Story-board Game FlowA studio licensed, quality attraction requires something that all movies have, but laser tag games traditionally do not. A storyboard. Just tossing thirty guests into a themed environment, does not make for a world class attraction. Delta Strike have a unique ‘Storyboard Game Design’. A game of laser tag can now be viewed as a story, complete with beginning, middle and end. Events such as voice messages, lighting effects, and power-ups, are woven into the time-line, allowing the designer to create periods of varying game intensity, all the while taking the guest on a journey through the attraction.

Intense ThemingTheme-parks will incorporate a very strong theme into their amusements. Laser Tag is no exception - whether it is wild west, egyptian, science fiction or a copy of a movie story-line, we can make it “fit”

Once you are ready to start building your laser tag arena, Delta Strike will provide you with an 18 page document outlining all the specific details on how to prepare your site for the your laser tag installation.

Perfect for your builder and Electrician:This document is full of diagrams and drawings. We have designed this document to be handed out to your electrician, builder and other contractors so that all parties have a full understanding of who is providing what elements of the Laser Tag installation.

The design of your arena will have a huge impact on this experience and should be carefully considered. A common error is to cram the arena with a myriad of similar walls and shapes, creating an arena which looks the same throughout. The end result? A “bland” design with no sense of mystery and intrigue.
