Perspective of WB in the future calls u  Increased budget for WB region - 14 milions of euro for the Western Balkans for CB HE

u  International Credit Mobility (ICM) – 26,4 millions for the WB region

u  Jean Monnet – 12 million euros;

u  Erasmus Mundus joint master programmes - 134 millions euros + additional 5 millions for the WB countries individuals, 100 additional scholarships foreseen for WB ;

u  Capacity building in the field of Youth – 3 millions for the WB region ;

u  Serbia – no more a partner, but a programme country, budget remains the same

u

Why is it important for Montenegrin HEIs to take part in Erasmus +

u  Opportunities for tackling the topics of importance and priorities relevant in national context

Instead of conclusion, messages to institutions and individuals

u  Make use of the increased possibilities

u  Be more selective when applying with projects, use strategic approach

u  Choose well your partners, prepare well in advance

u  Liaise with all relevant stakeholders and avoid duplication and overlapping

u  Start introducing programmes in English, joint programmes

u  Active commitment of teaching staff

u  Take care of the human capital, cherish the contacts and partnerships established

u  Try spreading the culture of communication, and disseminating good practice to your colleagues

u  Use young people and their enthusiasm as a tool for improving the system

u  National priorities that are on the list, but not exploited should be perhaps replaced, or eliminated

u  More involvement of national authorities, and all other relevant institutions

u  Last but not the least, we should work together, despite all internationalization and projects, we, here, locally, have to show the culture of communication with each other, sharing good practices, and spreading knowledge and experience, internationalization has to be developed at home first
