LATEST NCCR NEWS Review in Nature Medicine In early June, Grégoire Courtine published a Review in Nature Medicine titled “Spinal cord repair: advances in biology and technology”, written with Michael Sofroniew (University of California). The article reviews recent advancements in augmenting neuroplasticity and functional recovery in animal models of spinal cord injuries, and highlights the importance of combining biological and engineering strategies in order to translate those results into actual therapeutic breakthroughs.
