EXPERTS DISCUSS
WATER MANAGEMENT IS A KEY COMPONENTIN THE SMART ENVIRONMENT
Catherine Failliet, Managing Director for LACROIX Sofrel, talks
about the necessity of a sucessful management of the water
networks in a context of sustainable development.
"In 2017, a billion people do not have access to drinking water,
and unsafe water is the leading cause of mortality on earth,
ahead of malnutrition.
Water best illustrates the 3 pillars of sustainable development,
namely fighting poverty, economic development and environmental
protection.
With the world population expected to increase from 7 to 9 billion
people by 2050, the challenge is to promote access to safe drinking
water and sanitation in a context of growing urbanisation and
climate change."

ENERGY EFFICIENCY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY
Cedric Castella, HVAC Market Manager at LACROIX Sofrel,
shares his point of view on energy consumption management.
"On 4 November 2016, the COP21 agreement entered into force.
The objective of the agreement is to keep the increase in
average global temperature significantly below 2°C by 2100. To
achieve this objective, we must reduce CO2 emissions, and this
means conserving energy along the entire supply chain, from the
producer to the end user."
