ZERO TO THREE is proud to feature the work of the field through the National Training InstituteEach year NTI receives over two hundred responses to its Call for Proposals, with less than 80 slots available for 90 minute field presentations.

Critical and timely information (hot topics)Current clinical and applied researchCreative strategies for promoting best practices in infant-family servicesPublic policies that affect very young children and their families

Reviewers with expertise in the proposals topic area read and score proposals without identifying informationNo program names, specific locations (city, state OK), staff, or affiliate organizations should be included in the abstract or summaryPresenter names and affiliations are hidden during the review process

Blind Review ProcessProposals not conforming to the standards outlined in the CFP are rejected before review

*Presenters indicating an interest in presenting a 5-minute Ignite presentation will be considered according to available time

Criteria used in scoring and selectionAppropriateness of subject matter to the NTI audienceDemonstration of how it furthers knowledge in the infant/family field (review of current and relevant literature with references)Potential for informing future research, policy and/or programs Presentation plan that uses a lively and varied format with audiovisual and other materials to enhance learningOverall balance of topics within the program
